Halloween 1,2, and the H2O... That's how the series SHOULD'VE went!

Now I know, all you Halloween 3,4,5,6 and Resurection fans are going to kill me but......
I honestly think that if they had JUST made parts 1&2 and then WAITED and made H20 it would've made the series ALOT better. I personally think that this storyline was by FAR the best. Ok now.. (breaths in) let's hear it...

yeah it woiuld have made the series easier to swallow. But with all the money the first two made it is unreasonable to think that they would have waited 18 years to do another sequel not to metion all the letters and emails from fans about another one. also the movie might not even of done that well. Now adays it seems the only old horror movies that still get new movies put out have atleast 2 or 3 sequels to there name.

I disagree. I think H20 sucked big time. They should have stopped the series after part 4. Anything after 4 is unwatchable for me...

I'm with Rogue. For me, it's hard to muster up the strength to watch anything after the fourth installment. They should have either stopped there, or allowed Jamie to fill her uncle's shoes.

I think H20 shouldve been the end...I loved H20. I liked Resurrection simply because it was another Halloween film,but I wouldve stopped at H20. But I think 9 or 10 should be the FINAL Halloween.

That woulda made H20 a huge hype with many people knowing its been 20 years since last one (well 17). But of course with all the horror series coming out 1 per year such as f13 noes i guess they had to keep the name halloween going or else people might forget about it.

As with most film series, the 1st Halloween is the best. Halloween II & H20, however, both tie as the best of the Halloween sequels.
Hence, I agree that, if the series had been just those 3 films, it would've been better.

I think it should be 4,5,6,and then an ending film. (4 would be number one 5 would be number two and 6 would be number three.) I liked the Thorn storyline.

I loved Halloween, though II was fairly average, and really liked H20. So yes, that storyline would've worked. But then, we would lose out on Halloween 4, my favorite sequel of the series... but we also wouldn't of had those directorial atrocities known as The Revenge and The Curse of Michael Myers...

i like halloween one and 2 halloween 2 is my fav movie of all time including sleep away camp but i havnt fully seen halloween 3 cuz i stoped it in the middle i didnt like it and plus it made no sence and had nothing to do with michael myers! but i even see how john carpenter fucked up his movie plot for these movies look at the age's and shit it makes no sence if u think about it!how old is michael myers? does it match up to lorie? and how she had 2 kids now where's her daughters son and then her own son when r they gona show up?
