Can somebody give me an answer please?

Is "Black Christmas" the same movie as "Silent Night, Evil Night"??

It's because I live in Belgium, and I can't find "Black Christmas" anywhere, so maybe I could have a chance with "Silent Night, Evil Night"...

No, Silent Night, Deadly Night is a completely different slasher.

There ya go,I did'nt even know Black Christmas had an alternate title but if you do need to find out about an alternate title for a movie just go to Imdb,Its quicker that way.

Nope, different film. I guess there's only so many titles available for Christmas-themed horror films!

These film titles arent very original. Silent Night , Deadly Night , Silent Night , Bloody Night , Evil Night. LoL. Are these films practically the same? And cane you give me some Killer Santa Clause and Holiday themed slasher films. Also could you tell me what Santa CLAWS is about?

Despite the nearly identical titles, the films are easily distinguishable from one another. Deadly Night is a cheesy, "sex 'n' gore" slasher; Evil Night (aka Black Christmas) is a tense, brooding slasher; Bloody Night I haven't seen (check the Horror Reviews forum).

Christmas-themed slashers? Other than what's been mentioned, there's Christmas Evil (aka Terror in Toyland), but I think that's more of a character study than it is a slasher.

Also could you tell me what Santa CLAWS is about?

I haven't seen it, but from the looks of things, I wager that Santa Claws is softcore porn!

Black Christmas is the best horror Christmas flick by far,Nothing even compares in that category.

SANTA CLAWS is a porno. some site did this long as indepth review of it. I would go look for it but i'm really really lazy.

I have "Silent Night, Deadly Night", and I think it's pretty good, it has some really creepy scenes.

Another alternate title for Black Christmas is Stranger in the House. Actually, I think when I saw this for the first time in the eighties, it was under this title.

Yep,I just checked imdb and there is 2 alternate titles which are Silent Night Evil Night and Stranger in the house.So Friac,That version that you saw is Black Christmas under a different title.

I'm afraid you misunderstood...I didn't see the movie, but I'm looking for these different titles. Hopefully I can catch one of them :-)
