I definitely fucking agree,What a movie.I liked the performance from the 2 main actor's.This sweet flick is a cross between The Hitcher and Duel.By the way,If you are a fan of Joy Ride you should watch The Hitcher and Duel and you'll know what I mean.

JoyRide is OK. I was expecting a little more, though. I thought it was quite suspenseful at the beginning, but quickly spiralled downward afterwards. Unforunately for me, Ted Levine (Rusty Nail) was such a recognizable voice for me, and I couldn't shake the thought of Buffalo Bill behind the wheel of the truck. I love Levine's work, but it kinda ruined it for me.

I loved this movie. I personally didn't think steve zahn would pull this type of movie off, but he was awesome.

This was my most eagerly anticipated movie of the year and I got to see it last night....and it sucked. I was so disappointed. It was just so...flat and very, very boring. The acting was great though, but it was just so rushed and bits weren't thought out as much as they should have. The ending was pure rubbish, completley brainless and utter rubbish rolled into one. The director had a big imagination but was too lazy to think it out. The only plus was Paul Walker's ass. :D

3.5 / 10

THE HITCHER was a fucking kick-ass movie. I loved the whole feeling of dread the film had, like there was no possible way of escape. C. Thomas Howell and Rutger Hauer were both great. Thumbs up.

There ya go,A little enthusiasm for the film that made Rutger Hauer famous. This film is my #3 all time horror flick right behind NOTLD and Psycho.I just love the atmosphere right from the start and I mean right from the start because it makes you realize how far from civilization he is.I know if it were me there's no way I would've picked up a hitchhiker in the middle of nowhere and at night time but thats just me.I think that Jennifer Jason Leigh also had a good performance in it but we all know it was a battle of wits between the 2 main characters.

"The Hitcher" is a great movie but I don`t think it`s the movie that made Rutger Hauer famous. I think that would be "Blade Runner".

I liked "Joyride" quite a bit. You know, I prefered the "alternate" ending much more than the one used for the final release. Much more psychological, I thought. The denouement for the final release, though, is great. Loved it.

I'm pretty sure its The Hitcher since the people in the movie world actually refer to him as Rutger "The Hitcher" Hauer.

Bladerunner garnered Mr. Hauer much attention. Thats why they picked him for the Hitcher,He was already way famous by the time the Hitcher came out. Best,THISJUSTIN

I guess I was assuming that The Hitcher made him famous because I remember that movie got great reviews by everyone and especially Hauer. When Blade Runner came out I was 5 so I would'nt even remember if he was famous or not then.Hauer also had a great performance in Nighthawks.

Nighthawks! of course! That was one of Stallones best films and I always forget that he did it.I really like it.Its aweful when now ,Stallone actually just did his first straight to video movie release. I forget the name of the film but I was surprised that he has sunk this low He was great in Copland. . Best, ThisJustin

It`s called either "Detox", "D-Tox", or "Eye See You", depending on where you live. I`m not sure which title they`re using in the U.S..

Stallone has officially hit bottom,Making a made for video movie does not help out his career.Rocky 6 might bail him out.
