I can't believe I actually sat through that shit. My mom couldn't sit through it, she fell asleep in the movie theatre. I wanted her to go see SIGNS with me but she doesn't like those scary kind of movies, she wanted to see a Comedy, so I chose Master of Disguise. BIG FUCKING MISTAKE! How could I have been so stupid! That movie is just plain painful to watch.

Definately Eight Legged Freaks, the only good part was the actor who played the janitor with glasses (not sure what his name is)... pointless killer spider movie that is no better or worse than Arachnid.

this movie came out when i worked at a movie theatre and my friends and i were waiting for our other friends and so we decided to sit in on this movie...well, after like ten minutes we got even bored of that.....the first ten minutes were so awful...we just left and sat outside in the cold instead. of course we could have went to another movie, but thats besides the point. this one just stunk so much that we wanted to freeze instead of watch it....so i must agree with you...but i can't give it the worst movie i've seen becuase i really didn't technically (sp???) see it.
"The Sweetest Thing" **
"Halloween Resurrection" *
"Van Wilder: Party Liason" *
"Scooby Doo" *½
Resident Evil: Utter garbage, the only redeeming feature being the fact Milla Jovovich is gorgeous. 1/5
Monsters Ball: You know a film is iredeemable crap when Puff Daddy is the best thing in it. 1/5
Goldmember: Just like the first two but without the enthusiasm, or the funny bits. 2/5
From Hell: Send it back. 2/5

Any movie that was present during the Oscars in March are NOT of this year.
Gosford Park,
Monster's Ball,
etcetera.

I am proud to say that I have not seen EVEN ONE of the movies you guys are talking about. Not even one. Can't you tell what's going to suck before even seeing it? I certainly can. If the trailers for Blue Crush, Swimfan, Corky Romano, Death to Smoochy, etc. don't drive you away you deserve to sit through them.

Five might be right. Let's see...
Lilo & Stitch
The Bourne Identity
Shrek
One-Hour Photo
Spider-Man
Yep, five. But I haven't been disappointed by any. I might have seen a couple more, but I don't remember them. I don't get out much. Actually I do, just not to the movies.
Oh, and White Oleander. I rule!

But you haven't liked a whole bunch of them, right? I'm just very picky. A movie really has to make me wanna see it to get my money.
Oh, just thought of two more...Jackass and 8 Mile. I didn't hate 8 Mile, but it wasn't great.

I might as well just tell you the amount, since now it's getting confusing...
Eighty-three.
And I thoroughly enjoyed about 12 of them, and hated probably the same amount.
(But the final lists will be out at the end of the year, no doubt.)

Two indie art-house films with loathsome characters that I absolutely hated: THE RULES OF ATTRACTION and IGBY GOES DOWN.

I'm usually pretty good at picking out movies that I like, and thankfully the majority of them I've liked. However, had I not had a friend with me, I would've hated Kung Pow. Luckily I went in with an open mind and a cheery attitude, and was able to get some enjoyment out of it, although I did regret wasting my 8 bucks afterwards :( .
Also, although I liked Supertroopers, I couldn't help but feel a tad disappointed. From the trailers, I was expecting something really, really funny. I guess my hopes were too high and I felt a bit cheated in the end. My friend (whom I've mentioned a few times in the Rant forum  ...) loved it even more than I did, and he didn't even care to see it had I not dragged him along. I think it had something to do with these two fat fucking whores he knew from school who wouldn't SHUT THE FUCK UP behind us. Ignorant bitches...

Super Troopers - Inept and pointless piece of childish crap.
Scooby Doo - God it was an awful film.
Kung Pow - A terrible film that reeks of laziness.
Rollerball - Pointless and offensive crap.

I'm getting to the point where I'll only see a movie if A. It topped the 100 list of the year B. The trailer looked good C. It received moderate reviews or received a nomination. Yes i do watch plenty of indipendant films so don't think i don't!!! So there are several such as Eigh Legged Freaks, Slackers, and Juwanna Mann and Sorority Boys that i prob. will never see. although i still plan to see at least 160 after they're all out on video, i think i've seen maybe 70 so far or so....but the worst in my opinion are, and these are terrible:
Impostor
Jason X
Super Troopers
Crossroads
Men In Black II
Rollerball
We Were Soilders! (yes i hated it too) w/a wopping 4/10
Enough
Bad Company
Reign of Fire
and I'm not even going to waste my time or money on Pluto Nash, which comes out on video in a couple of weeks......
p.s. many of people need to check out the years that these movies came out. many you've listed have been 2001. i don't know if you're not from america but Black Knight, Gosford Park, Monsters Ball, Corky Romano, From Hell, Say it Isn't So, Valentine and Shrek were all released in 2001. anyway.
how have you seen PINOCCHIO charlie....i didn't think that one was going to be released until....wait.....it is december...is it out already!? i thought it wasn't due until late december. I need to know!

This was a really bad year for movies.
1. Signs-Abysmal, Gibson prostituted himself by being part of that wretched tripe.
2. Ecks Vs. Server-Soo bad!
3. Jason X- Hell of dumb, yet hell of funny.(Maybe I should remove it from my list, for just being so damb whimsical)
4. Half Past Dead=half ass effort.
5. Anything with Will Smith in it.
My list is incomplete because some movies looked so bad I couldn't force myself to even go entertain the notion of seeing them. Movies like Jackass, Scorpian King, Etc.
