I have heard nothing on this project. www.upcomingmovies.com says it is in april but wouldn't there be a trailer or a poster or something?? Please say anything you want about this movie.

I read the book, and it was okay. I will see this one on DVD.

According to imdb.com, Holes is coming out in January and starring Jon Voigt, Sigourney Weaver, Tim Blake Nelson, and Shia LaBeouf (from Disney channel)

Thanks movieguy! www.upcomingmovies.com said it changed release dates to April 19. The Disney Channel????? Does that mean it will debut on TV or is it just a disney movie?

It isn't a Disney channel movie-it just has someone from the Disney channel. I don't know really, I don't watch it. But I think he's from Even Stevens or something. It doesn't look like there is a poster for it yet, nor commercials, but I expect there will be soon. According to the imdb.com site for Holes the release date is Jan. 17, but in the "upcoming movies" section of that website it doesn't say anything about it. Hmmm...

The release date was January 17th until it just recently changed to April. It will be released in April, and the trailer and such should appear soon enough.

This movie is about Stanley Yelnats who is accused of stealing a pair of sneakers and goes to Camp Green Lake which is this dried up lake where all the bad kids go to dig a hole 5 feet deep and 5 feet in acrose everyday. The book was really good I hope they didn't destroy the movie!

Decent book by an extremely fun childrens author. I actually would have enjoyed seeing the Wayside School books brought to life as opposed to this, but...the cast is decent enough. We'll see.

SWEET! I had no idea about this movie! I cant wait for it to come!

I can picture the poster now. Its going to be exactly like the cover of the book but instead of it being a cartoon itll be real. You know what i mean...
