Damn,am I the only one who has seen this movie and actually likes it.Its about a dare or prank some college kids on rushweek are picked out to do and go to an asylum and take pictures of an inmate who commiteed 7 murders and he's a crazy priest.Zachary Malius is let loose and hes ready to pick up where he left off.Malius looks pretty creepy.Anyone seen it and liked it.

Isn`t this the movie where the killer says "no this" or "no that" everytime he kills someone? Like for example he kills some kids having sex, then says "No sex"! Or someone is playing loud music, he kills them and says "no music"!
If so, I saw this a long time ago and thought it was pretty lame. And isn`t there a heavy-metal song about the movie over the end credits?

Elgyn, yeah that's the one. Man, I thought I was the only one who had seen that flick! I had it on vhs years ago. The first time I saw it, I thought the priest was pretty freaky, especially when he is first revealed under the flashlight..."No...peace!"
Overall, the movie's pretty bad, but it had some decent slayings and some laughs.
BTW, Tarman, HELL NIGHT is a completely different movie. That's the one with Linda Blair, but also has a similar plot involving College kids.

I know Hell Night is the one with Linda Blair but it also goes as Hell Night.2 working titles for the movie and I heard its also called Hatch in Canada. They should have made sequals to this because it lives up to Michael Myers and Jason to me.

All Im saying is that if there going to keep making crappy sequals to Hellraiser and Halloween etc,why not make one for this.Who knows, the way things are going we might be up for a remake..

Well the difference is "Hellraiser" and "Halloween" made money, and "Happy Hell Night" didn`t.
It has nothing to do with the quality of the movie. Hell, look at "Santa Clause 2"!!
P.S. - Claw, I have a feeling you`d like this movie.

Did Shark Attack or Jack Frost bring the money in.Survey says,Nope.I bet this is has a bigger fan base in Canada. If you liked any other slasher movies then this should be right on with them.Granted the one liners the priets shoots out is just like watching a movie with Arnold Schwartneger which is kinda corney but everything else about this movie is good.Im just showin some love towards the movie.

Actually yes they DID make money - on video. That`s why we have crappy sequels to those [already] crappy movies.
Dude, don`t get the wrong impression, I have no problem with you liking this movie. I like plenty of 'bad' movies myself (did I mention that I own "Cabin Boy" on DVD?).

Tarman - is this movie even available on video? I don`t remember ever seeing it at video stores or anything. I saw it on HBO.
Claw - ever seen Chris Elliott`s show "Get A Life"?

Elgyn - I've always wanted too, but sadly I have not. I did read reviews of some of the epsoides on x-entertainment, and they seem like something I would be entertained by.

As far as renting the movie goes,GOOD LUCK because the only place that I found that had it went out of business which was Movie Gallery. You can buy if off different sites on VHs for like 14 dollars or so or get it on DVD.Montgomery Wards was selling it a few years ago and they only wanted 4 bucks for each copy. The only thing is they were selling it under Hell Night.Chris Elliot needs to put some more movies out
