I saw this a couple of months ago on "Showtime" and this movie was a different kind of slasher. First it was very very violent. There was one point where the killer locks this guy in a shower and puts on the shower. The only bad thing is the water coming out of the shower is acid. Another thing was the killer was kool and the ending was surprising. This movie resembles a Dario Argento movie. If you've seen this tell me what you thought about it. If you haven't seen it. Then do! trust me! it rocks.

This film was like CUT ie shit! I thought the idea of a Big Brother/reality show setup with strangers entering a house only to find out they've been set up for a killathon (the house turning into a deathtrap with buzzsaws and spikes shooting outta the woodwork - Cube style) was terrific.
Ultra 2D couldn't-give-a-shit-if-they-die "characters" and a CUT style killer on the loose not to mention our main character being a boring unstable hallucinating druggie psycho all help to ruin one of the best film concepts ever.
One point worth mentioning is that the basic storyline structure is almost entirely identical to HOLE which was another waste of a great concept if you ask me.

This flick sucked! Hard! It was even boring in fast forward. It is kind of like Cut in that they both suck ass.

i have very very very fond memories of this film. i lost my virginity whilst this was on. me and my girlfriend of the time rented it andwell we didnt get thu it but i had fun anyway he he.

I thought this movie was okay. Like Malaria said, the basic premise was cool until the 'slasher' guy shows up. Still not THAT bad I guess.
Though I don`t think I had as good a time as Jewbo watching it!

I thought CUT wasnt all that bad! Come on! It was an OK film no big deal but the basic idea was sorta cool..I know most of you hated it but imho I thought it was ok. And the killers mask looked good too..

I love both Kolobos and Cut, at least they are better then slashers like Sacrifice or Bloody Murder!

I haven't seen Kolobos, but Cut was definitely entertaining. The premise is basically a shadow of New Nightmare, though. At least it was a return of the supernatural slasher. I haven't seen one of those in awhile. It's a breath of fresh air after sitting through countless slashers with boring teenagers as the villains. Scarman is no Jason, but he could teach Ghostface a thing or two.

You know, I think I`m also gonna come out of the closet and say that "Cut" wasn`t as bad as people let on. It was certainly no classic, but it was an entertaining slasher. I did think the killer`s mask was awesome......but I think having him take the mask off and talk was a BAD idea. It`s at that point that the movie gets too goofy.

I just rented Kolobos recently and found it to be remarkably creepy for a movie of its type. I loved the score, found the direction to be very tight, and really really liked the Argento-ness of it. It's low-budget horror done well..the concept isn't anything new, but I for one liked not having any concievable hero. The deaths were extremely painful-looking and the character's acting when they got killed was much better than their live acting, but I got over that pretty quickly. All in all, not half bad: 7/10. The main theme was a big Suspiria-rip-off keyboard piece, but once again, inspriation from Argento is only to be expected.

I found this movie to be rather creepy. It had it's faults but overall I enjoyed it. As for similarities to Argento I've only seen one of his flicks (Suspiria) and I enjoyed Kolobos alot more. The score was an obvious rip-off though.

I think everybody needs to have their own opinion on the ending. What I think is: The killer, Faceless was obsessed with Kyra and her drawings, so he cut off his face to make himself look like one of them. Then, he started the add to make some more of her drawings come to life. So he killed Tina, Alex,Gary, Tom, and Erica and made them like the disturbing arts. At the end, Kyra eventually got Faceless knocked out and escaped through the basement window. After she left the hospital and went home, Faceless eventually made his way there and she finally warmed up to him. Since she was kinda mentally unstable in the first place, she now became a psycho and places another add to help Faceless make more disturbing drawings come to life.

Kolobos was ok IMO i give it 5/6 out of 10 is it just me or would the killer have looked better with his mask on i quite liked it just a thought........

I reall enjoyed this flik, and yes, the death scenes were really good. I havent really thought about the similarities between Argento's Suspiria, to Kolobos, but i guess it must be there.
All's i can say though, is bring on a worthy sequel, or make another movie, sheesh, i believe this was the only movie they made, sadly.
And Cut was a fine movie as well, just not what i was really expecting, but good nonetheless. Molly Ringwald is purty.

Ok, I just watched the movie again. And I noticed something, Kyra must have killed Faceless and now he is just in her head, and she's a psycho.

Seriously though, the end still stumps me but I so like this movie I thought it was good.
