In honor of the recent snow in Jersey and other states, I have decided to open a thread dedicated to snow scenes in motion pictures. What are some of your favorites?

Groundhog Day - Snowball fight against kids
Edward Scissorhands - Ryder twirling while Edward carves another masterpiece
The Godfather - Michael walking with Kay

Those are two of my favorites...that and I don't remember anymore. I know you people can think of plenty more.

BTW, that Godfather scene happened didn't it? They are walking on a sidewalk, but I'm not sure if it was in the snow or not.

I'm not sure. Are you referring to when they come out of the cinema and Michael sees the paper where it says his father has been shot? I think it's snowing in that scene but wouldn't consider it a "snow scene".
There's a bit in Part II when Michael walks in the snow going to his mother's house but that's all I can remember

Best snow scenes for me are:
the maze scene in The Shining
young Kane playing with his sled
Love Story (shut up I like this movie)

How about The Battle of Hoth in Star Wars V: The Empire Strike Back? I also liked the Micheal Keaton movie, Jack Frost.

Edward Scissorhands: Ryder dancing in the snow as Edward makes another sculpture.

The Nightmare Before Christmas: The end of the movie when Halloween Town gets snow and Jack is singing that song to Sally (the best song in the movie).

There's a scene with snow in the war movie Battle of the Bulge that I always liked.

Three American soldiers escape a German firing squad as their comrades around them are all killed. The snowy setting just added to the scene.

It's a Wonderful Life has some of my favorite snow scenes. I like the maze scene in The Shining quite a bit too, though.
