Some friends of mine were watching this flick during luch break. It was the chezzeist thing I had ever seen. And my pals told me it was intended to be serious but I think they were just jokeing. So does anybody else know about this movie?

This flick kicks ass! Check out the unrated version for all the added gore! One of Troma's best!

This was not a serious movie(seriously deranged maybe;)), it a Troma film, and has more cheese than 15 grilled cheese sandwichs.:D Other than the Toxic Avenger, this is my favorite Troma movie(it also helps that the female lead looked GOOOOOOD!:p ).

*pauses her worship at the altar of troma to post*
"class of nuke-em high" is one of the earlier troma films, where they were still trying to make b-movies in earnest, before they evolved into the house of self-aware schlock that they are today. i urge anyone who likes this movie to go out and rent "terror firmer" - it is a true horror comedy classic. granted, not everyone likes or "gets" troma (witness arrow's review of "the toxic avenger"), but if you do it's a true treat.
the best thing about troma is how they treat their fans. co-founder and in-house director lloyd kaufman is so cool. he's always somewhere with the troma team signing anything you put in front of him and hanging around for hours to answer questions or share stories (read his book "everything i need to know about filmmaking i learned from the toxic avenger"). it's always nice to be appreciate by the people who you spend a lot of time appreciating.

I love this movie. The first Troma movie I saw. The second isn't as good but still fucking hilarious!
