According to this month's Shivers magazine BBC's excellent "GHOSTWATCH" is being released for the first time since it was effectively banned by the BBC surrounding the inevitable tit tat complaints when it was screened.
Anyone who saw this excellent terrifying drama will I'm sure be rushing out to buy it, and those who didn't make sure that you do!
Like I've said before on this site, this was the only film that's ever properly scared me.
Look out for it.

Got this in HMV on the Tottenham Ct Road side of Oxford Street in London.

I watched it again. And I viewed some of the Extras which is basically a study of the script in voice over by one of the creative team behind the film. It has brief cut-aways to photos illuminating the voice over including "pipes". The inlay of the DVD box includes a quite in-depth and informative summary by Kim Newman discussing the mythos and trouble surrounding the film which includes a damning of the BBC and their decision to release the film until now.

Since I had never seen the film in its entirety before this was the 1st time I'd seen it all.
The first thing that struck me is the the acting is really quite bad. Sarah Green's real life husband in the studio is reeeally bad. So is the whole family who reside at the house.
Michael Parkinson, Craig Charles and Sarah Green do a good job of playing themselves but there are so many points where the acting makes you wince.
Having said that I still say it's the scariest film I've ever seen. I got pretty spooked up after watching it again and started checking the house for intruders!
The scares are subtle but incredibly effective.
Definately one to track down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
