***NO Spoilers***

Woa! I am so pissed! I was flipping around the tube for a minute and MTV showed some cool behind the scenes of The Matrix Reloaded, some Neo fighting and a bunch of cool, non-spoiling fun stuff with a Keanu interview... Then all of a sudden, they totally ruined the end scene for Revelutions! They also showed what is probobly the last line of the film! WHY?!?! DAMN MTV, DAMN THEM TO HELL!!!

That totally sucks AP! There's another reason why MTV sucks the big one! Wow. I really canno't believe that they would just ruin the ending like that. And plus, it sucks to know what's going to happen at the end when you first see the movie!

BOO MTV!

Are you serious, AP? Well, whatever respect I had for MTV is now gone (I didn't actually have any, but still...).

If they actually did spoil the ending of the film, then that was really fuckin' lame of them.

I am very serious, it was during those lame moviehouse things. Your right Linds, here is yet another reason (more so for a matrix fan) to despise MTV. It was so obvious that it was the last scene of the saga too.

Don't mean to make anybody mad, but AP could you tell us the line, with SPOILER warnings of course. It will not ruin the series for me, but I'd love to know. :) Thanks....

alright Dh, i'll private message it to you... (don't say i didn't warn ya)

Were you watching MTV's Movie House AP? The Matrix Reloaded 'behind the scenes' is coming up next, and I'm going to change the channel. Now I know how it can ruin a movie, because it just ruined J-Lo's new movie. (Oh well, it looked crappy anyway!)

Sorry if it sounded like I was doubting you, AP. I wasn't. I was just a bit shocked that even MTV would do something this lame.

Just wanted to clarify that. Thanks for warning us about this, dude.

yea, no kidding thx for warning us. Because if i saw a behind the scenes of the Matrix sequals i would be glued to my tv.. but thx to this i will definatly be careful of what i see. Because i would be writing letters to MTV about that if it spoiled it for me.

Yeah Linds, it was the latest MTV's Movie House, it was right after the spoiling of the Ralph Fiennes/J-Low segment... ungrateful bastards...

I didn't think you were doubting me Jason, its just that they give a hell of alot away and i ment that the spoiling is seriously... spoiling... (bad word use, lol) It just amazes me that thousands of people saw clips of the very last scene a year before it comes out, just wanted to warn ya guys, if or if you don't want to find out.

Thanks for the PM, AP...I must admit it is indeed a very bad choice on MTV's part, because the people who don't like spoilers got the biggest spoiler there is. Fuckin' MTV.

Same here AP. I'm pretty curious myself.

But on the topic, I never liked MTV and never will. And this is just another reason for me to loathe them!

Hey-
I saw this thread and just wanted to bring something up. I am quite confident--although I know nothing about the end of RELOADED--that MTV did not show the ending of either RELOADED or REVOLUTIONS.
My reasoning is simply a matter of deduction from both the writer and directors point of view and everyone who is involved and responsible for marketing the movies. So---all of us die hards are salicating to see this mind blowing piece of film. And everyone who follows the stroy and the film making process knows that the story is under such secrecy that it has been rumored--despite what everyone may know---that the original scripts were printed in ink such that they could not be photo-copied.
NOW--there is no way that the footage aired without WB knowing about it and as such there is no way that they would show the end. THEY would be doing themselves and everyone involed a HUGE disservice. I am no huge campaigner for corporate America in any form--however---you gotta believe from the Wachowski's point of view that we would have heard that they were PISSED to no end to find out that someone decided to show the end of this film they had put four years of their life into over six months before it is to be released. Yeah--so people had scrounged for the script and apparently it's all over the web for those who want it. FINE. But that's all done in secrecy and in the dark. MTV is a major corporation and studio who wants to hype the movie as much as anyone else. Yeah so Rolling Stone apparently leaked the script in an issue this year---but I'm sure it was without WB's knowledge.

Plus why the hell would Keanu reeves alienate everyone who he has worked with and who has worked for him by showing the end.

I'm sorry but there is too much logic---and from the crass point of view-----too muc money at stake---for anyone to be showing the footage of the end of either RELOADED OR REVOLUTIONS.

Just my opinion.
Peace

I watched it, and it didn't seem like it'll be the ending to me, maybe I wasnt paying attention enough...

First of all, may I suggest that any individual daring to reveal the ending without including a spoiler warning be serverely reprimaided?

Second, this alone proves that MTV is going downhill. Giving away the ending like that borders on the sadistic. What the hell were these bastards thinking? The filmmakers should threaten to sue, just to scare them a bit.

I am glad I read this thread. Cause I would've watched a behind the scenes special, even if it is on MTV.

But now I know MTV is pure crap and not just crap. Maybe Nostradomus predicted TRL to be the letters of evil and I wouldn't be surprised. Thank you AP for saving us Matrix fans from a dreadful fate.

(I haven't a clue how this instant messaging thing works so an e-mail would be easiest).

Thanks.

While I do agree that it would be stupid to do this, and would piss a lot of people off, you have to remember that films do, a lot of times, give away their endings or twists before-hand...remember the CastAway and What Lies Beneath trailers? They both gave away key things in the movie.

I remember reading something by Ebert about this where he stated that a lot of times the makers give away plot points because they believe that a lot of people in the audience want to know what they are going to be getting.

Also, you have to remember its MTV, the worst of the worst.

Well, if that isn't the saddest thing MTV has ever done since Jackass. Thanks for the info AP and WTF were they thinking??? We wait so long for this movie and now a whole half year away and they fuck it all up for us. How sad man, how sad indeed. Hey, umm don't want to bother you AP or take your time away from yas but I missed the MTV Movie House and I feel a little bit left out here. May I ask for a PM also... :) No spoilers has ever turned me away from a movie that I wanted to see so I'm cool with it.

P.S. Hey Cyclonus bro, Sorry for the long wait for an Email but I was away for a while with family bro, but no worries I'll be emailing yas soon okay.

P.P.S. Lindseyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!

Well dang girl it's been AGESSSSS since I last heard from you. On the boards and through emails. Been wondering if you fell off the other end of the world or something. ;). What's it been like, seven, eight months now??? oh hell too long indeed. Anyways glad to see you're still around gal.

Sorry if I missed something, but how do you know that they spoiled the ending? I mean nobody knows what the ending is, so you couldn't possibly know that what you saw was the ending. It was just something you *thought* was the ending, but it wasn't.

Or did they say: "Ok, not let's go to see the FINAL scene in Matrix Revolutions?

ak

.......Tuukka, I was thinking exactly the same thing!

Someone kindly e-mailed to to tell me the "ending", and my initial reaction was "it may not be".

I'm not really into the Matrix series in a big way, so if that was the ending I'm not really fussed. Although, I doubt it was.

I never watch the MTV Movie House anyways. I read that they screened The Two Towers and went in during the best part, Helms Deep, with video cameras and shit and started asking people what they thought of the movie, and distracting the whole audience.

I too would like to know because I read the "ending" in a mag about a year ago and I'm curios to see if it is the same.

On quite a bit of a side note...

American Cinematographer spoiled the ending to Phone Booth with pictures that were clearly from the end of the movie. I had the intention of sueing them myself, but I guess I'm just too lazy to follow through. Yeah, so watch out for AC's "month of December" issue. (Possibly November.)

Going back on track...

I highly doubt The Matrix ending is spoiled. I thought the trailer for The Life of David Gale spoiled everything about the movie, but when I saw a sneek preview of it, I found out that there was much more to it that wasn't even hinted in the trailer. Same goes for Gangs of New York. (You'll have to use your noggins to figure out what I'm refering to. I'm not gonna bother with "trailer spoiler" alerts.)
