I remember this schmoe called gocomedy who started spamming the Filmmaking/Screenwriting forum with his "free screenplay coverage". It turned out to be nothing but a spam to promote his website which had nothing on it. The replies were just great, such as "get lost you fucking moron", or "no one wants to go to your fucking website". He made six of those spam threads, and since then, he is gone now.

In the time that I have been here I have found Romero & Juliet's recent "Do you feel like your posts are being misread" thread in the Rant Rant Rant forum to be most memorable. I salute ALL of us who have participated, we have taken lunacy and creativity on to a whole new level!
Reigh Kaufman

Yeah, Romero's post was fantastic. I remember another, similair one that happened in one single night and involved me, Grebdron, Bob Plisskin, BCV, Paul Calf and a few others. A Schmoe was causing trouble, so we hijacked his post and used it to hurl vaguely rude insults at one another. JoBlo came in scratching his head and shut us down...I think he was confused.
I also recall another Schmoe who created a post willing Ed norton to die, or something. The fury was palpable from us and the poster was soon gone.
And what about the Turtle Club...
"Am I not turtley enough for the turtle club?"
Jeez, only Stevereno can get away with that in every post (cause it's funny when he does it)..

How's police academy by the way?!
My favorite schmoe-nannigans took place on the horror boards, when a certain MEECH got on board and claimed to have been the creator of another schmoe, teenkiller's sign off phrase "wewll that's all for Now. GoOd Journey my fellow schmoes." I swear, the place went up..

Does anyone remember the Star Wars debate that resulted in a (nameless) Schmoe threatening to kill me and Grebdron? Fantastic!!! It was so funny to hear Greb claiming "I'm a lover not a fighter" - I swear he actually said that. Old bastard.

That salute goes right back to you, Morgana. That was a great thread. Reigh and I had a scintillating discussion that involved deep-bucket squats and Ohio's police force. Hell, we were imbibing subtext like madmen. Of course, he was right and I was wrong. But that's what discussion is all about, right?

I'm quite fond of the threads where the lads start talking fisticuffs, they're extremely amusing! Funnily enough Grebdron and Kaufman usually start mouthing off a bit...pacifist my arse!
Oh, still...They're not a patch on the infamous antics of Senor "Turtle Club"!

Hoooooly shit. That Stefan guy was CREEPY! Damn! That thread was interesting. I think Electricte basically summed up my thoughts on the movie at the end.
Anyways, I rarely get involved in those long winded arguements/ discussions. My fave thread was a script posted by Ezikel in the Screenwriting Forum. Man that was funny.

I could understand his being disappointed that the new Star Wars films weren't to his liking, but threatening physical violence on the person who made them is just wrong.

I'm glad Joblo banned that guy, this site doesn't promote drugs. He deserved to get banned for giving the site a bad name. There was also a simular topic many moons ago on this site where a schmoe called Joblo and The Arrow "sexist pigs". I think protesters should bug off from this site, we don't need them.

I've seen it happen on other boards, too: a respected member of the community, a regular poster, just suddenly goes off and ends up severing ties to the group. Great read...imagine trying that now, with all the female Schmoes we have...we'd be dead....
Boys will be boys. Little do they know how WE talk in the locker room, eh girls? ;)
I like jokes which have a degree of truth in them, you gotta be able to laugh at yourself and the human condition once in a while. And I found a lot of those jokes funny. But some of them seemed rather cruel and mean-spirited, and I didn't care for those. But overall, it was a good read.

Glad to hear you guys enjoyed it. Well, for the most part, anyway. I was a little wary of posting it, but I thought the thread wasn't truly misogynist or mean-spirited (maybe at certain parts), so it would be okay.
Annie: I hear you about having to restrain yourself from replying. That's another qualm I had about posting a few of those threads: they're not closed anymore due to the board change, so anybody could reply.
Oh, well, though.
Cheers :).

That's great! Anybody who spams this board is really just begging to have his/her ass handed to him/her in a box. It starts w/ people posting pics of actual SPAM cans (which is always good for a solid chuckle) and just gets meaner from there.
Damned if I don't love this place. :D

It's rather funny how this particular character claimed in one of his posts (I did a search on all of them) that his posts aren't SPAM but a "genuine offer". Hello! Considering the only conribution he made to this site is his ads, I'd say his intellectual inaptitude verges on the unbelievable!

Anther thread that is full of energy and spark is a recent one, it's the "I hate Avril Lavigne" thread in the celeb talk/gossip forum. What is true punk? Better not bring that question up around here.
And that Bloodied Celtic Vengeance, man is he full of fire! It's almost kinda sexy in a twisted way. Hmm... of course, nothing beats Grebdron's sexiness when he wears his spandex condoms, or when Reigh puts on his authentic Saturday Night Fever outfit. That goes without say. How did I even get on this? I hopelessly digressed... don't mind me fellows, I'll get back on track eventually. :D

WHAT? You put on latex rather than spandex when you see Reigh? On second thought, that is very clever thinking. Spandex would rather clash with polyester, you are way ahead of me Greb. You, Sir, are a bonafide fashion plate!

*Wipes a tear from her eye* Ah, all this merry amusement. You guys are insane. Which is never a bad thing.
Sex Club. There probably is a film out there with that title, top shelves of Blockbuster, you know how it is.
I read an article today which suggested replacing the word 'fight' in the rules of Fight Club speech, so I decided to be crude and use the word 'wank.' Yeah, that charming British euphemism for masturbation.
You do not talk about Wank Club
You DO NOT talk about Wank Club
If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out...the wank IS over
Only two guys to a wank
One wank at a time
No shirts, no shoes
Wanks will go on AS LONG AS they have to
If this is your first night at Wank Club, you HAVE to wank
So juvenile but so impossibly fun :)
