this movie looks very dull and stupid. First of all nick cannon is an idiot and not a talented guy. Second of all the plot and basis of the movie is dumb. 3rd the trailer just pisses me off. OOOooh he made a hip hop beat with his drum, YO! HOT!

What the fuck is this this shit? What, are their marchingband battles with thousands of idiots who can all tap out the bass to "Hot in herr"? Is a the guy who I can always only see as that guy from Mad TV(Orlando Jones) going to be the coach that pulls the funk out of the band!? Is all this shit going to go on just to have no one win, and nothing really matter at all!?

It looks like "Bring It On", but without the scantily clad ladies and the comedy. OK, there WILL be cheerleaders, but they aren't the star of the show.

What the hell? Do we really need a movie about a little drummer boy with an attitude?

The buzz from critics who actually went to black colleges is that it IS a good movie. Some people recognize these musicians as atheletes and I think the movie will be refreshing and fun, and maybe even inspiring to a youth who is interested in band. I'll definitely go see it, it may remind me of my college days.
