As you've all figured out by my info now, my favorite movie in the world will always be Back To The Future. And i will forever hate the god awful sequels that were made. Here's what i thought about the trilogy... POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD, GODDAMMIT!!

Back To The Future (10/10) - This movie was simply the best. The acting was fantastic (in particular Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd at their best. Special recognition goes out to Lea Thompson, Crispin Glover, and Thomas Wilson). The story was fantastic. I mean, you have a friggin TIME MACHINE built out of a DELOREAN!! When you combine the ever fascinating concept of time travel with a car that looks gorgeous, what more can you ask for??? Also, the story and the way it was portrayed just kicked ass. No need to explain any further...everything about this movie was perfect for me. And since it was my official childhood movie, it'll stay with me as being the best forever :)

Back To The Future Part 2 (3/10) - I felt that BTTF should've been left untouched. So when i discovered that 2 sequels were to follow, i was extremely nervous. And my fears came true. BTTF 2 had an interesting idea behind it, but the magic just wasn't there. It was mostly recycled concepts from the first movie, plus some new stuff here and there. The split timeline due to biff getting his hands on the almanac didn't cut it. The only part about this movie i liked was when we get to see Marty all grown up with his family, that was kinda cool. Nevertheless, i feel this sequel should've never been made, as it tarnished the image of the first. Now if i felt like this about Part 2, watch me blow my top for Part 3...

Back To The Future Part 3 (0/10) - You mother fuckin' bastards!!! Who was the crackhead who came up with this piece of shit?! They killed my movie!!! I will never forgive the cocksucker who made this sequel happen. It is just the worst possible ending to a movie i have ever seen. I mean, the wild west????? WTF is going on here?! Doc shows down with an ancestor of Biff? Marty in boots and a cowboy hat? Dear god, i can bitch about the shittiness of this movie forever and ever, but i won't waste my energy on this crap any further. Bottom line, this movie made my cry because of its pure stupidity and god awful ending (the Delorean is DESTROYED!!!! ARGHHHH DAMN YOU WRITER YOU STUPID BITCH!!) , so avoid it at all costs

So guys, what's your take on this trilogy (i'm more interested in what you thought about the first one, but if you must talk about 2 and 3 by all means go ahead) ?

Yea- i liked them all also, the first being the best and classical of course. I like the fact how the sequals didn't end up like MIB2 did where it was just a remake or somethin'
It actually tried taking it a step further each time which i respect.

I hadn't seen the movies for ages...refused to watch them on TV when ad breaks interrupting them so I recently purchased the DVD box set to watch them again...heres my take on the films.

Back To The Future 9/10

Like ilikehorror this movie is one of my childhood faves and when I watched the Delorean go 88 mph again with Silvestri's theme blaring out...I'll admit I had hairs on the back of my neck standing up. Christopher Lloyd was the stand out for me, he was just so over-the-top as Doc and I loved it. Biff has to be one of the best villians ever as well. I hated him.

Back To The Future 2 7.5/10

I remember watching this movie about five times at the cinema at the time this movie blew my mind. Even though I couldn't really follow the story line that much, being 11 years old. I liked it when they went into the future and we saw the McFly's but my favourite bit had to be those Nike trainers...trainers were everything back in 1989.

Back To The Future 3 7/10

Again I watched this one a few times at the cinema and liked it but when I watched it again recently I thought it was a good film but not as great as I remembered. I'm not really the biggest fan of westerns as it is so the setting really didnt interest me but surprisingly held my attention throughout. A good movie but really recycled everything from the previous two. The train sequence was exciting.

Overall a great trilogy of movies that I will always cherish and love. They remind me so much of my childhood. Much like Star Wars and ET.

yeah i thought that it wouldve been better to have the third part in the future because in the first one, Doc said he wanted to see the future. The Third was by far the worst of the tree but a 0!!! come on...just for having Lloyd and Fox it gets and automatic 5 points 7/10.

Check out movies.com and search for Back to the Future 4

(YES I SAID 4)

Yeah, you can't beat the original, and II and III are inferior, yet still reasonably enjoyable.

However, didn't the first one END with a hint to further adventures and in doing so to inevitable sequels? (although the car reading "to be continued..." was added AFTER the movie became such a hit) So don't bitch about sequels, which where part of the plan from the outset.

I found the intricate structure of part II to be very promising, but in the end disappointing. Part III was Wild West, so blah...

The original is really that good because of that special magic!

ok, my favorite one was the second, because i love the scene where marty is at the school watching himself...that is awesome. i love the first one, because, well, its great. the third one is good, but not as good as the first two.

and i LOVE george mcfly. he's the best!
