MGM and Sylvester Stallone are close to reaching a deal on Rocky VI. The plot would have Rocky Babola running a youth centre, and while running it he comes out of retirement. In my opnion, a bad idea. The sequels to Rocky were just recycled material, and Stallone is 56 y'know.

wow...BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD idea!!!!!MGM,dont do this!Stallone, dont do this! That plot alone will just turn it into another typical action type movie....that sounds exactly like a B Movie...not that i aint a fan of them, but incluing the fact stallones older now,and that we REALLY dont need this...and have better things to come up with and watch...oh man i cant sweat how bad of an idea this is....i mean im all hype now and im not even a diehard rocky fan.

Okay, this is how they should do it: have Rocky coach a younger man and guide him to success. But that's not the plan now is it?

Because they already did that with "Rocky V", and it bombed.

Then don't see ROCKY V...ever. The basic idea (the one you suggested) is good, but the movie is the worst ROCKY flick yet.

As someone mentioned above, a ROCKY VI thread is already open here (http://www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41249). This topic is closed.
