You hit it on the head arto! Granted I dont like Bruce Willis....Or come to think of it, I didn't like Armageddon either but I liked Deep Impact which was basically the same story line so I vote for X2 too.

OK guys, X2 won that round, 7 to 2.

Now on to the teen comedy ( if thats what you want to call it :D ) round with the choices being:

American Wedding (Pie 3)

or

Legally Blonde 2

I vote for LB2. I was never really fond of the pie saga, they were always too juvenile and gross-out but I will let you make up your own mind.

GET VOTING NOW!

Same here... LEGALLY BLONDE 2 (even though the teaser was crap)

The AMERICAN PIE movies left me cold.

Reese Witherspoon didn't.

I'm going to vote for American Wedding. I never saw Legally Blonde, and the sequel looks...crap-tastic. Reese can salvage pretty much anything, though, but I'll be looking forward to Wedding more, myself.

But enough about me.

No one seems to be voting so I guess POTC goes on since....well.....I voted for it (sorry to be harsh but no one else is voting and it is a tie so what else can I do?). On to the next round:

THE HORROR ROUND :o

Freddy Vs Jason

or

Rob Zombie's House Of 1000 Corpses

I vote for FvJ, I'm more of a slasher fan than a zombie fan (but even Resident Evil was good and 28 Days Later ROCKED!).

So get voting dudes for your prefered horror movie!

Prozac Nation (with Christina Ricci)

or

The Life Of David Gale (with Kevin Spacey)

My vote goes to Prozac Nation, the book is a modern classic (I highly recommend it to everyone!) plus Christina Ricci is my favourite actress so I cant wait to see how the movie version turns out. Granted TLODG sounds promising and has another brilliant cast.

Hollywood Homicide (with Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett)

SO YOU SHOULD BE SORRY NATE! Now, just beg for forgiveness and we'll be done ;)

Not only to benefit myself, but this round doesn't seem to be getting much action (I wonder why that is Nate ) so we'll move swiftly on to our SUPERHERO round!

Lara Croft: Tomb Raider 2

or

The Amazing Spiderman (aka Spiderman 2)

This round (I think) is gonna be a bit one sided too (the first tomb raider movie sucked harder than insert celebrity name here). So I vote for Spiderman, the first (9/10) was much better than expected, I dont normally go for superhero flicks.

I never thought much of MBFGW, it was nothing but a frilly timewaster, even if it did include a great performance from Nia Vardalos and Timeline has such a great premise ( plus it stars "the big yin", other scottish people will know who I mean :p ) so I vote for timeline.

Here we are at the next series of voting, I never thought we'd get this far! I'd like to thank my mom, my pa, my friends, the academy and finally...ALL YOU SCHMOES AT JOBLO!

The line up is as follows:

May
Freddy Vs Jason (OUT)
The Order (a.k.a The Sin Eater) (OUT)
Timeline
Hollywood Homicide
Legally Blonde 2 (OUT)
The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen (which won out of the last 5 qualifiers) (OUT)
The Amazing Spiderman
Pirates Of The Carribean (OUT)
Lord Of The Rings: ROTK
Bruce Almighty
Prozac Nation (OUT)
X2 (OUT)
The Matrix Revolutions

So now that means we begin with the pairing of...MAY and FREDDY VS JASON!

Choose your favourite!
Ditch the loser!
AND VOTE VOTE VOTE! :o

PS, I vote for May.

Rob Gordon

May looks truly cool and so far I've heard nothing but good things, but I've got to go with the collaboration of the two guys who kept me up way past my bed time when I was younger: Freddy vs. Jason. It probably won't be as good, but those guys still creep me out after all these years.

Right guys, before we continue, I thought I should bring up one small fact to your attention...Since Joblo has posted his review of The Life Of David Gale, it will be released VERY soon so I've decided to remove TLODG from the tournament and replace it with Prozac Nation (who got the 2nd most votes in the round between the 5 movies), I HOPE YOU DONT MIND! If there's any problems or you think its unfair, TOUGH! ;)

Moving on and you would find that Timeline won that last round!

We now go to our cheesy, crappy movie type round:

Hollywood Homicide (and you can thank Nate for that! ;))

Legally Blonde 2

I vote for LB2 even though I'm looking forward to neither of them!

I actually am somewhat looking forward to both of these movies. Legally Blonde was a fun, cute comedy and HH has some great stars and promises some good Hollywood satire. I will go with Hollywood Homicide.
