Can Someone Name this movie

I'm new here so first I would like to say hi and thank you to anyone reading this post. Secondly I was hopeing maybe someone could helm me out. I'm trying to id this movie, bascally all I got to go from is that it was made in the 80's and it starts with some type of party going on and the father figure killing everyone at it. Sorry I don't have more details but I've never seen it and the three people who have can only give me this much.

Ok I made a mistake above. I got more details and this is how the movie really goes. It starts off with a birthday party for a father. During the party a kid starts playing with a rifle and ends up shooting the dad. It then shows the kid all grown up at a pub talking to his friends about his upcoming plans. They end up going to this house/cabin(?) and then the all start dying. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Kinda sounds like the muliator, but the kid shoots his mom in that movie not his dad, but if it is the muliator stay very far away from it. it sucks and blows hard.

Thanks, I just looked it up and you are right.
