Hi everyone, I'm kinda new here. Anyway, straight to the point. For the last week I've been trying to remember the name of a movie I saw quite a while ago. From what i remember some chick escapes soem town thinking her grandmother is a vampire. She seeks help for 2 guys (I think). I think one of them was a teacher. Anyway they get to the town and the whole town r vamps or something like that. It was a fair while ago that i saw it. And ideas???

Sounds a bit like SALEM'S LOT, but I'm not sure about the "escape"thing.

For some reason whenever I think of the movie I think of Corey Fieldman and i think that one of the guys was a retired vamp hunter and that the whole thing was a trap to get him. Or maybe it was jsut a dream, pretty cool dream though if it was, althoguh I'm pretty sure it wasn't a dream.

I agree with mugwart74, this sounds very mcuh like Children of the Night.
Did the vampires do "weird" things when the slept? One vampire I think it was played by Karne Black sleeps in a tub of water and spits up here lungs to breath. Another one has a cocoon around it while it sleeps.

***************Mild Spoilers **************
It has been a while since I've seen it, I believe it was produced by Fangoria magazine, and as vampire movies go it is not one of my favorites but it did have its moments.
I liked the vampires living in water (Can't explain why, just did)
I liked the "weirdness" when they sleep.
Other than that I don't remeber a whole lot about the movie which usually means it probably only ranked a 4/10 in my book, but everyone likes something different.

No drama??? Ughhh...now I'm not so sure I wanna see it....the best horror films work because of drama.

Yes, it's CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT from Fangoria Films. I saw it few weeks ago. An average vampire movie, but I expected more gore.
