BLACK CHRISTMAS special editon DVD...a great investment!

For those of you who don't yet have the new DVD release of BLACK CHRISTMAS, I must advise you to brave the cold weather and go get a copy! Critical Mass, who released the movie a little over a year ago on a bare bones DVD, delivers a fine special edition with commentary by John Saxon and director Bob Clark. There's also a really fun documentary titled BLACK CHRISTMAS REVISTITED which runs for 35minutes. There's also a nice long interview with director Bob Clark! If that isn't enough, we get a whole bunch of trailers and TV spots, plus alternate title sequences! The new transfer looks amazing, finally delivering the movie in letterbox format. Crisp, clear images with sharp sound all but highten the bone chilling effect of this forgotten classic. And the DVD also has a reverse cover sleeve, with the original poster art!!!

BLACK CHRISTMAS on DVD, there is no better holiday present!:)

just saw the movie for the first time....for 1974, a good couple of years before the slasher film came into its own, its not bad...the dvd special features were great
