"Watchers".......anyone seen it?

I remember when I was like 10 years old, my babysitter brought over a bunch of movies and "Watchers" was one of them. I cant remember if I liked it or not. It's with Corey Haim and Michael Ironside (I think) and its about a genetically mutated monster that escapes a lab and goes over Haim and his smart dog. Anyone seen this?

Yes!!! It was a total bastardisation of the excellent Dean Koontz book and the cretinous dogs who made it should have been hunted down and slowly eviscerated for their crimes committed against horror movie fans. Terrible. Awful. Don't even ask about Watchers 2. Ugh!!!

That was some silly looking monster. A sharp-toothed orangatuan, bigfoot thing that probably smelled like shit and didn't like looking at itself in the mirror.

Oh yeah, I remember this. Yeah, the monster was pretty ridiculous, and it was different from the book, but i thought it was okay. I like Corey Haim, the dog was kinda cute, Michael Ironside makes a good psycho, and it had some okay action scenes. I thought that Watchers 2 (with marc singer, star of Beastmaster) was better (but still a ridiculous monster). There's actually a Watchers 3 (it's all right, I think it had Wings Hauser in it), and I there's a fourth one called Watchers: Reborn or something with Mark Hamill (yes, with Luke from Star Wars). I haven't seen that one but I would like to.
