Has anyone here ever seen the Amityville House? I mean in person where you acctually drove by the house or took pictures of the house.

I have only seen pictures never seen the house myself, and the only pictures I have seen are those on websites where they have the creepy half moon windows and usually have altered them to look red. I have seen a few pictures that are normal though too.

yes, the house is real, it is very real. I have seen it person, it is located in Amityville Long Island. Just wondering if any of you othere schmoes had any expierences seeing the house.

I've heard that the ghostly events that occur in "The Amityville Horror" are false, but that the house itself is haunted and that some scary things did happen to the real Lutz family. I would love to stay a night in that house myself and see what happens. I do believe in ghosts and would like to check out that house!

The Amity house is very real. The events which happened in Part 2(kid goes nuts, kills family, says it was the devil)also really happened. The Lutz family bought it and said it was posessed. They sold the story and made a fortune, then admitted that they lied and nothing weird happened to them when they lived there.

You are partly right about what happend,I have been investigating the case for more than eight years now, and finally know the truth about what happend. A- The horror story is false, a hoax, nothing ever happend at the house. B- A kid Ronald "Butch" DeFeo did murder his parents, brothers, and sister........... Or so we thought.
