Good ideas for a haunted house film?

Does anyone have any good ideas for a haunted house film? I was kind of thinking what were your fear when you were little that still would scare people.

To open my eyes at night, and see a human's figure (ghost) in the door...then, I'd close my eyes so it vanishes...I'd open them....and THAT would still be there...Id PISS!

not a bad idea, when ever i was little and i would be home by myself and it would be quiet, it would always scare me to think i could hear someone walking up our old wooden stair case......stilll gives me the willies brrrrrrrrrrr. ***shiver, shiver***

[Five Years]

Over the summer I spent 5 days in a boys dormatory at the Colorado College in Colorado Springs. This place WAS haunted. No doubt in my mind. It looked like what the Myer's house turned into in Halloween 5, only bigger, with at least 50 rooms spread over three stories. Maybe not nessecarily a haunted house story, but SOMETHING horrific needs to be shot there soon.
