I just finished The Celestine Prophecy and I must say that it has affected me in a very profound way. I look at everyday occurances in a different way now. I realise my purpose in a clearer way, or so I think. Of course it may only be the initial aftermath of reading the book, but I think it is genuine. I am curious to see if anyone out there has read it, and what did you get out of it?

I've read it, but it's been several years now, so I can't quite recall it very well. I do remember feeling exactly like you said after you read it- kind of a new outlook on life. Maybe I should dig it out and give it another go.

I was in Europe when I read it a few years back and I remember taking every small thing as a "sign". It actually did work to a certain extent, but I guess you can't take it too seriously.
It does make you value the smaller things in life though, and that's always good.
