Thanx to some fellow Shmoes reccomendations, I rented and watched, and I was not let down (much)!

I have not liked Michael Pare's performances since Eddie and The Cruisers ( and there I am biased, I know what it's like when your trying to be the "visionary" behind a band, and he nailed it dead on). However I found this his best performance that I've seen.. His relationship with Thor was pretty damn believable, and those scenes really had great tension. Mariel Hemingway was her usual self, not great but not bad either...I particularly liked the "Flopsy" scene at the beginning. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

The werewolf FX were great ,UNTIL that HORRIBLE CGI transformation...christ why didn't they just stick with the animitronic wolf, it looked awesome!....

I thought it was an interesting story, just a simple tale, and kept simple. I really liked how he tried to stop himself by handcuffing himself to the tree, tho I don't quite get why he stopped doing so.

The battle scenes with Thor were outstandingly real looking, I was really worried poor Thor wasn't gonna make it...

So a thanx to the Shmoes who put this in their top werewolf flicks over on Best/Fav...cuz I prob wouldn't have ever seen this film otherwise.

And it gave me a pretty cool idea for a "different" sort of lycanthrope story http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

This is one awesome Werewolf flick, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Bad Moon should have been about twenty minutes longer. It felt way too rushed. Other than that, it was a solid werewolf flick. I'm glad that it dealt with a brother/sister relationship as opposed to a clichéd couple that lives happily ever after.

just finished watching this and i must say i was very surprised. i agree with count on that it felt too rushed and could have easily had 15-20 minutes added to the runtime

while not one of the best werewolf flicks out there it was definitely worth watching, the acting is alright, theres some decent gore, lots of action and it is never boring....although the only character i really ended up caring about was the dog :p

8/10

Apart from the bad cgi-transformation I liked this
and the fight between Thor and the Werewolf (played by Ken Kirzinger by the way) is a suspenseful scen and the last sequence in the movie is awsome too

This movie was a suprise. I didnt think it would be that good with a title like that.It has some good werewolf scenes when compared to other "newer " werewolf movies. It puts all those lame Howling sequels to shame.

I didnt think it would be that good either from its name and not hearing much about it, but it was more than capable. The only thing that bugged me was the shift in personality in the werewolf in man form. He initially was fighting killing the family. Sure, its different when he gets hairy, but when he was in man form the motivation was always the same. Then toward the end the man part didnt care either. What gives?
