DVD recommendations

[Re-animator]

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone could recommend some great horror dvds to buy this christmas, i only recently bought a dvd player, so my collection is very small..

So far ive got;

*Pet sematary

in mind...what do ya guys think?

Re-Animator, I have a feeling that you'd dig the Re-Animator two-disc set.

I'm going to move this to General Horror Talk, but my personal recommendations for essential horror DVDs would include....

The Thing (tons of great extras)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre (ditto)
The Omen (and again...)
Nightmare On Elm Street Box Set (8 discs and well worth it if your budget stretches to it!)
Se7en (double disc version)
Scream Trilogy (great box set if you like 'em, not so great (obviously ;) ) if you don't!)

I would also recommend Halloween and Dawn of the Dead in an instant (two of my all time favourites) but you might want to wait as there are special editions of both of these coming out soon (-ish..... :) )

Jaws, The Thing, and Phantasm are the three best DVD's that I bought since I've got one(for the price and the special editions of course). I picked up the Phantasm at a supermarket for $10.00.
All loaded with extra's.
I was kinda disapointed in the Suspiria SE 2 dvd & goblin soundtrack for the price I paid for it.
The Beyond's special edition Dvd is expensive but well worth the price with a kick ass interview at a horror convention with the late Lucio Fulchi and the late David Warbeck.
That's all I can think of right now but that should be enough.
