Let's Play "What movie is this?"

Thought I'd start a thread for people wondering about movies that they saw, but don't know the title.

For instance, I saw a movie when I was a kid, about people trapped in a house (how original), except they really were trapped. The scenes I remember are:
1 dude opened some closet door and a dog jumped out and tore him to pieces
1 guy jumped through a window and started running across the lawn, and then the lawn swallowed him
At the end, the surviving guy and girl went downstairs into this room that was all white, with an old guy in a wheelchair.

These are the things I remember vaguely, and any help would be great.

Its The Evil(1982). I never saw the whole thing but I'm sure that's what it is. I only remember the ending and the guy getting swallowed up by the ground. Heard a couple of reviews that said it stunk, though. So proceed on your own risk.
