Blood Surf Ending????

Hey Schmoes.
I just watched Blood Surf again for like the third time (even tho it ain't great!) and every time, there's always one thing that gets me.
At the end after the guy and girl kill the croc, they settle down on some leaves or whatever. Then they ask how they're going to get off the island. The camera pans away from them and focusses on a bit of river and some sinister strike music plays as if there is something there. I expected to see a croc head pop up or a swift tail movement deep in the water, but I can't see anything there!

Does anybody know if there is actually anything there as this is really bugging me.

I couldn't see anything either, the movie was bad enough as it was, they didn't need to have such a stupid last frame. I think what the director intended was for the audience to detect a presense, that's it that's all.
