From Fangoria.com

A story on Variety about the alliance between the Endeavor talent agency and Intellectual Properties Worldwide, a company that controls remake rights to a number of classic and cult-classic movies, revealed several horror titles among the properties for which IPW is trying to package new reduxes. Among the films that may be “reimagined” if these deals go through are PIRANHA (already remade once by Roger Corman), IT’S ALIVE! (which original writer/director Larry Cohen has expressed interest in redoing), DEATH RACE 2000 (does this mean Paul W.S. Anderson and Tom Cruise’s DEATH RACE 3000 has fallen apart?) and C.H.U.D.!

The same article also reports that one update we might actually want to see is unlikely to come to pass: a Disney-backed big-screen version of KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER that David Fincher was interested in directing, from a screenplay by his SEVEN scripter Andrew Kevin Walker. Sadly, no deals have yet been signed and this project may never happen.

Could we settle 4 anymore remakes?? Do U think they would work out........

Personally,I dont see the gripes over remakes. If you like the originals, thats okay, its your opinion. If you dont like the remakes, its still your opinion, maybe someone else out there likes it. Its just another film-makers view of how they see the film.
