for my forthcoming 5th annual movie marathon! On the 29th and 30th of December each year I have a marathon of movies. This year I would like to focus on more thought provoking material like Being John Malkovich and Requiem For A Dream. It would be nice to have some suggestions from the lot of you! Thanks.

How about Frailty? It raises a lot of interesting questions about the nature of God and of good and evil.

Pi is an absolutely thought-provoking and gorgeous film made by Darren Aronofsky. And, you'll love it even more if you like math (which i do :) ). Basically, it's about a mathematician who's trying to unlock the secrets and mysteries hidden behind one of the most famous mathematical constants, pi. And, as a result, slowly makes his descent into insanity! If you want in for a good time, watch this movie!

"O," sure makes you think. If you want a thought-provoking yet depressing movie rent "O."

Again, thank you all for the input and I hope I can get my hands on Pi, but I am skeptical about my tiny town. I saw it last week on the Independant Film Channel and loved it. I might even buy it if need be for my marathon. Anyway, keep up with the suggestions. Thanks.
