I liked:
the cool beginning with the Tara Reid cameo
Sarah Michelle Gellar's turn as a hot and deceiving bitch
Selma Blair playing ridiculously naive
Blair & Gellar kissing
the hilarious actress who played Blair's mom
Sean Patrick Thomas as the fun black loverboy
the placement of the cool soundtrack
about the first hour was fun until Ryan fell in love with Reese, because his change-of-heart wasn't all that convincing

I didn't like:
the last third of the movie with some shoddy acting and too much talk about moral, lover and stuff
the end was kinda cheap

i liked the movie. i really wanted to see it because it was a remake of dangerous liasons, which i loved. i like the people that are in it, and i just like it. and i love sarah michelle gellar in that movie. woo hoo

the part at the beginning with tara reid and Swoosie Kurtz was my favorite part!:D

I especially loved Sarah Michelle Gellar as the villain, what a bitch! This movie proved that she more than just "Buffy". Ryan Philippe and Reese Witherspoon had great chemistry together and they looked lovely. Overall, it was a good film, not great, but good.:)

damn i couldnt agree w/ u more. I LOVE this movie. i could watch it a thousand times in a row and still not be tired of it. the performances are terrific, and this movie is dark, fucked up, and frequently hilarious. I LOVE CRUEL INTENTIONS!

I don't mind movies that try to be controversial. I don't mind women kissing (just wish they'd be hotter chicks than the ones in htis movie). The thing that bothered me was ... well... it just didn't work for me!
I can't stand Sarah Michelle Gellar and that's too bad because then I could at least her cock-teasing. I can't stand Ryan Phillippe either, which made it even harder to sit through. I already knew what was going to happen more or less because I've seen "Dangerous Liasons" many times, but the change of THIS ending was not as good, and fell flat.

If it's any consolation, I'm one of the only people I know who didn't like this movie! All my friend pine of SMG and love this flick! To each his/her own, I guess.
