Just got the dvd earlier today. Man is it great. Anyone else have it or like the series? I don't think they could have used anyone better than Bruce Campbell to play Ash. He really does a great job at it. If you don't got the movie on VHS or DVD, definietly get it on DVD, the behind the scenes alone is worth $5 outta the $10 you will probably spend. Beware of Evil Baby :D

One of the first discs I ever bought, Evil Dead 2 is still one of my favorites. It doesn't get quite as much player action as it did in the old days (man did we watch the hell out of that movie), but it will always hold a special place in my heart. Groovy!

Buy all the Evil Dead DVD's beware of which AOD one you buy though. The greatest part about the DVD's are the commentary by Bruce, so damn funny! Oh ya and the movies are gold!

No. it's just that there are so fucking many of them! And not all of them are that great. I am waiting until early next year when there will be yet another edition. Supposedly this is going to be the best version. ARMY OF DARKNESS: BOOMSTICK EDITION or something.

I got the bootleg ED of AOD. Its not the best in quality, but I'm a sucker for extra footage.

Yeah, Evil Dead II (8/10) is a kick-ass flick and a sweet disc. Worth the money (even though I don't own it :D )

Does anybody have the one in the tin?

I have the disc in the keepcase with commentary, doc, etc.

I wish I had that tin, though. it looks pretty sweet.

I am now a proud owner of The Evil Dead Trilogy (Yep, I own all three!!! :D GO ME!!!) And watching them all in order I must say I still prefer Evil Dead 2, it is by far my favourite film of all time and my favourite film out of the trilogy. Its so great, I can't describe it. I love the commentary on ED2 though, so funny with Bruce, Sam, Greg and Scott (although the back of the cover says commentary by Bruce, Sam and Ropert but Rob doesn't appear in the commentary, weird )
