hey everyone,
i recently acquired the back to the future trilogy from future shop.
watched and loved it.

i'm wondering if there is a skip/production error...

...back to the future part 3 (disc 3) chapter 15.

right after maddog tannen arrives and calls for eastwood outside the saloon (sorry, i forgot the time reference - maybe a minute or two into the chapter)

is there a slight pause/skip when the movie centers in on eastwood's (marty's) face?

thanks

probably layer change but there is a framing error.

What is a framing error? I've heard a lot about this with the BTTF discs and have no idea what is meant by it. Can someone describe? Should I pass on the discs?

Well, in the 2nd and 3rd movies, you will miss some stuff out. They're minor and not really a problem.

The faded is the LaserDisc...the clean one is of the DVD.

From what i understand, they plan to have everyone return their error discs and return correct discs to customers (which means i keep mine {collector's item} )

Free is right with that one. Universal are offering people a replacement. If you want the reprinted DVDs you can send them to Universal and they will send you a corrected copy back. The problem is you have to pay to send them back. Anyway who wants to send these things back? they will become minor collector's items as Universal are deleting and replacing the DVDs containing the error. To be honest though, it is such a minor problem. I've got the effected set and its not that bad at all. I would have noticed if I hadn't have read about it.

I read about this on the BTTF.com messageboard. But I haven't noticed any problems and I watched the third disc the other day. I may have to check it out, just to make sure there is no error.
