I enjoyed this flick, even though it didn't have much to it. I think this sounds like a pretty solid DVD and I just may pick it up someday.

It's been about 4 or 5 years since I've seen it. I remember liking it, it's just that it's one of those movies that's entertaining, but not much really happens in it.

I will definitely be picking this movie up. It is one of my favorite teen movies and certainly a fun guilty pleasure.

Thanks for the heads up. It's one of my sister's most favorite movies of all time (I haven't seen her in four years, maybe not anymore; but she had good taste THEN, too!).
I think it would be a nice mid-year present for her. :D

I used to like it back then, but now.. I don't know, really korny and really out dated.
Anyway, the best part of the movie was when Renee Zellwegger (or however you spell it) was fighting with Liv Tyler about how she's perfect.
"For your perfect face! Your perfect body! And your perfect, perfect future!! I'm stopping!! It's always about her..."
Dude, even back then, I smelled oscar. (oscar as in the award, not Oscar the Grouch)
cheers!
What the hell is a "Fan Edition" anyway?
And What's with Toothpaste? Not a tooth, not paste, but it's toothpaste!
And why do people....
This is from DVD File:
Rounding it out is the newly-retitled Empire Records Remix: Special Fan Edition, which features 16 minutes of new footage. Additional extras include four deleted scenes, three music videos and the theatrical trailer. Retail is $24.98. All of the above feature new anamorphic widescreen transfers and remixed 5.1 Dolby surround tracks.

I hated this movie with a passion!
I think I will buy the DVD so I can whip out my zippo and light it on fire right in the store while screaming "BURN, BABY, BURN!"

If u work in retail music u can relate to this movie. Renee Zelwegger & Liv Tyler is the top actors/actresses from the cast still goin actingwise. Robin Tunney & Nathan Embry? also do movies now and then.

Sexy Rexy and Ethan Embry singing. They go together like white on rice.
Thank God this classic is going to be on a proper disc with special features. Dazed and Confused deserves this too.
EMPIRE RECORDS is a movie made superb by the fans.
