Okay i just signed up, but I need to know some things.

1. How Long Do You Keep Them?
2. When Do They Get New Releases? (I ordered Halloween Ressurection.... Do they get them the day they come out?)
3. Are They Any Good?
4. Do They Send You Just The Disk Or The Case With It.
For the most part that is it. Thanks

1. You can keep them as long as you want but you can only have three out at a time.

2. They get new releases the day they are released.

3. I won't have anything to do with them anymore because they fucked me over and took money out of my account for movies that I never even got. I contacted customer service several times and most of the time they didn't get back to me. Before this happened they were OK, but it's much cheaper for me just to rent from my video store. Plus, I get to see them sooner if I rent them. I cancelled my account and they can kiss my fucking ass. I wish they would go down.

4. They just send the disk, along with a pre-paid envelope.

This reminds me, one DVD I got and watched right away, then I sent it back the next day. It showed up as received by them in my account, yet when I got my next bank statement it showed that they had taken money out of my account (I think it was $21) for it, as if I didn't return it. When I contacted customer service, they said they couldn't do anything about it. DAMN DO I HATE THEM BASTARDS! I can't even stand seeing a netflix logo anymore.

I'm not trying to insult your intelligence, Mike, (and please tell me if I am), but you have to pay 19.99 plus tax every month, regardless of if you send back anything.

I assume you knew that, but I'm just making sure.

Yeah, some of those complaints dont make sense.

I am a HARDCORE Netflix guy. 8 out at a time for $39.95 a month. Their return time has been EXCELLANT. 9xout of10 I get my movies the day before they say I will. I have watched 23 films in one month (and yes, I DO have a job and other interests) In a video store that would have cost me $92!

I recieved one disc from them out of 40 so far that was cracked. I simply followed the proceedure they require, and I got the same title as a replacement (no questions asked, and no charge to my account for a damaged disc) NOTHING like going to the mailbox and find a shitload of dvds in it!

They are an EXCELLANT SERVICE compared to video stores. I get new releases without having to wait. As we speak, I have XxX, Blood Work, Barbershop & Eye See You on the way.

Selection: 12,000+ Movies! 9x out of 10 they carry the most obscure titles.

Turnaround: Usually 5 days. 2 to get mine, and 3 for them to get what I mail back, of which they must log in as recieved. With 8 movies out, I get flicks in my mailbox just about every other day! The key is to mail back FAST.... if you wanna be a pig like me! :D

Of course I knew that, I'm not that dumb. But this was taken out for the Daria: Is It Falls Yet? DVD which I had already sent back and they received. I should have just kept the fucking thing if I was going to get charged for it anyway. I called customer service and they said they would refund the money back into my account but they never did. This didn't even happen until the third or fourth month I was a member. Of course I was aware that it cost money and wasn't free. I can't believe you'd think anyone would actually think it was free. I was aware that it wasn't before I signed up. What the hell kind of rental service would be free? Anyway, my video store is $1.87 for New Releases and that's regular price, most of the time they have coupons or specials going on. Plus, it's only $0.97 each day it's late. And for non-new releases it's 5 for $2.87 for 7 nights. And for each day they are late it's only $0.29... I added it up and it was cheaper for me to just rent from my video store. And If I rent from my video store I can get the movies right away the day they are released. I mainly only used Netflix to rent movies that my video store didn't carry, but they carry pretty much everything I want to rent so there's no need for netflix.

I love Netflix, I've never had a problem they didn't reolve imediately. I have 5 out at one time, and I often receive them a day before the e.t.a. It;s especially nice to receive new release a day before other people. 2 dvd's have been lost in the mail(exorcist, unfaithfull) I was not charged for them, and I had no problem. The only problem I've ever had, was when I sent a gift certificate to somebody, and once the subscription was up, he cancelled it, but he still had a dvd out, which was actually lost in the mail, and so the cancellation didn't go through. They never informed and continued to withdraw the monthly fee for 2 months after the subscription was up. What pissed me off even more was, that I had been a customer for over a year, and when I called them a demanded a refund for my brother, they told me there was nothing they could do. Pretty gay. Other then that, they have been perfect.

BTW, Netflix is on the west coast, so naturally the process of receiving dvd's would take longer if you were on the east coast. So if you are on the east coast, you might want to try DVD Aveneau.com I think they are in Georgia.

Don't get pissed off, Mike. I only said that because the amount that you said came out of your bank account is basically what the monthly charge would be with tax. Sorry if I offended you, but it's no reason to get angry.
