There are countless giant snake movies at my local video store. They are as follows: Boa, King Cobra, Python, and Venomous. I was wondering if any of these films are any good and worth a rental? On a related note, are the films Crocodile and Komodo any good?

Python I own. It's only worth it if you're a HUGE Robert Englund fan. Also have crocodile. Add how cool Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Poltergeist were, and then switch the word "cool" to "pointless".

I love Killer Animal movies! I own Boa, Python, King Cobra, Crocodile and Komodo. I think they are all good but that is only because I love killer animal flicks.

Spanish, man, there's Sam Fuller's SHARK! (actual title, exclamation point, and all. Ha.) Supposed to be good. Check out IMDB. Type "shark", or something.

Don't forget about Alligator 1 and 2! What about Piranha 1 an 2? Part one was good, but skip 2.

I loved Komodo. Python, I found, was funny-bad. I hated Boa. Crocodile was passable. Haven't seen King Cobra or Venemous.
You guys want killer animal movies: The Birds, Kingdom of the Spiders, Empire of the Ants, Frogs, Bug, Them!, Arachnid, Arachnaphobia, Bats, The Blob(not really an animal, though), The Cosmic Monster(it's a giant ant, I think), the Critters movies, the Tremors movies(they're big animals), Octopus, Lake Placid, all the Fly movies and their respective remakes... and a bunch of others that I haven't seen.
That's not counting all the prehistoric-beasts-brought-back-to-life-because-of-nuclear-testing movies from the '50s and '60, a la The Beast with a Million Eyes and The Creature from the Black Lagoon.

I too like the killer animals genre.
I own Python, and I thought that it was terrible. Bad B-movie type of stuff. Just a few gory remains and that's about it. McCarthy's decapitation happens so fast, you can barely see anything.
Other killer animal flicks include Mosquito with Gunnar Hansan, Skeeter, The Bees, Spiders, Arachnophobia, Octopus, Orca, and Grizzly.
I think there's a shark film called Great White (a huge rip-off of Jaws) and Shark Attack 2.
Oh, and I just saw Of Unknown Origin about Peter Weller's battle with a smart rat. It was great!

Apparently there's going to be a sequel to Python with not one original cast member returning.
