Vincent D'Onofrio: One Of The Greatest Character Actors Alive

I think D'Onofrio is now one of my favorite actors. Everytime I see him in something he fits. He makes no matter what he's in seem interesting (and he's been in an incredible amount of diverse roles). What do you guys think of him?

I agree completely. He's one of my favorite actors as well. My favorite performances by him are in Full Metal jacket and Ed Wood. I don't hink he's ever given a bad performance really.

Excellent actor. And not just a great character actor, either. He's proved that he can be a leading man in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. I'm not a regular viewer or anything (not really a T.V. nut), but his performances in the few shows I did check out were outstanding.

I'm greatly pleased to know that I'm not the only one who's actually noticed him. I think he was incredible in FULL METAL JACKET. I think he has lots of charisma and acting ability to play any role. Like I said, he fits everywhere.

His Law and Order:SVU character Bob Goren is the only Detective I've ever seen who could match Andre Braugher's Frank Pembleton from Homicide: Life on the Streets for sheer intellect and instinct for what to do. A great character that he breathes life into every single week.

Great actor...definite yay. My friend and I were just talking about him the other day. We think he looks like a grown up toddler, anyone agree? A little like the kid from Baby Geniuses. I especially liked him in the Salton Sea.
