So, just tell us what you are like in real life, and how you got into horror movies and all. Well, I'm 14, I'm really into acting, I consider myself fairly popular at school. I don't have a girlfriend, but there's a girl I truely, truely, am in love with! She is going out with Steven Barney at the moment though, so ridicule him for me, lol, j/k. I plan on getting into acting (I'm already in school plays, the lead this year) soon, and my real name is Nick. Anyways that's my life in a small nut shell, if you are curious just ask, I'm pretty open. I got into horror when I was about 7-9, those were my breakout years into horror. Now I'm a HUGE fan, wow, funny how time flies.

i like punk music and am in 2 bands, 1 started jamming the other day, it's an old school crust punk band, kind of like negative fx meets the murderers, meets charles bronson meets the beastie boys, the other is called T.M.F.I. we play shows and have a website http://eatshitanddie.cjb.net
that's not like myself in it's intirity or anything but that's all i have the energy to type, i've always loved horror movies, i think watching all of the puppet master movies when i was really young helped and also we had this cool video store by our house with a rad horror section and crazy lights and skulls and scary noise tapes, it was awesome, it went out of business and blockbuster opened in it's place, but anyways yeah, i don't remember the first horror movie i saw, it might have been like, hmm... i dunno, maybe the shining, i dunno i can;t remember, i know it was when i was like 4 though.

In real life I'm the kid who stands in the horror section at Media Play with a black Misfits hoodie on looking around at people, And I do that pretty much everyday, And to be honest I like horror movies becasue I think watching people get killed is very entertaining.
And I have no idea how long I have been a horror fan or when, It kind of just happend.

Well, to start off, I'm 17 and a major Godzilla fanatic. I spent my tender years hiding under the covers from Freddy and Jason movies on tv. My cousin used to scare the shit out of me dressed like Freddy. When I was 5, I saw my first horror film The Wolf Man. After that, I was hooked to the genre(particularly werewolf films)! I started watching the other Universal monster movies and working my way up through various horror films of each decade. On February 12, 2000, my favorite movie was Fright Night and it still is to this very day. I like to draw a lot and lately, I've been drawing picture after picture of Jason's hockey mask.:o I also do a lot of sculptures of monsters, cereal characters, and more monsters. I have an interest in the supernatural (e.g. real life hauntings/demonology). And I dig 80's music.
Here's a lame web page that I had to do for my internet class: http://www.geocities.com/jerry_dandrige_03/scaryplace.html
That messed up pic is me. It was taken today, cuz there wasn't a better one to use. I'll replace it in the future...

HA HA! LOL. That's funny Steve-O... Heh. I'm kinda like you but two years younger, probably a different life, 3 inches taller, and probably have a little bit different taste, as F13 2-4 broke me in along with the shining and scream ans so fourth. But LOL, that was a good one!

I am 18, am definately a movie buff (especially with horror, but I like all genre's equally), Senior in High School. I'm not part any official clicke in school. I'm not a popular person in school (not that it matters for me), but I do have a few good friends and that's what counts. Otherwise, because of that, I do get to go to the movies a lot. I am an editor and writer for my school paper, for the Features section, and write movie reviews. I'll most likely be involved with movies in the future, as a film critic, or possibly as a Director.

I forgot to mention that I may be attending Columbia College next fall, if I get accepted. I've only done 2 college applications so far! I want to take classes in film at that school. There's something else I should mention about my childhood: I had this irrational fear of the horror movie aisle of video stores. I thought that the characters would jump out of the boxes and get me.:o

i'm the fat guy who hasnt shaved with messy hair wearing either a tie dye or some horror related shirt standing in the best buy horror section.
i'm quiet in real life unless i know you, then i talk alot. just takes a while to get me to open up, i've had bad experiences so its harder for me to open up now. once i do, i'm just goofy and will do jsut about anything for a laugh cause i have almost no shame whatsoever.
i like most any type of movie, mostly comedy, horror and action. i can often be seen staying up until 5 am watching movies and not getting up till 2 pm. i am a huge dvd addict, i have about 145 dvds and it shows no sign of slowing down.
i play guitar, not in a band yet but i hope to be in one someday. i play metal(motorhead, iron maiden type stuff), classic rock and blues. mostly classic rock and blues, just find it mroe fun. lately, i've been working on classical and fingerstyle. i also like punk, mainly just the sex pistols, ramones and misfits. its so simple, but it is fun to play. i love playing anarchy in the uk while trying to do a johhny rotten impression.
for horror, my mom said i was old enough to watch halloween. i was 12, watched that and havent looked back. lately i havent had the same interest in horror, but i'll always love it weather i watch it constantly or not. its just part of me.
since some others have posted websites, here's mine. its pathetic, i dont know html. i used the server templet and everything else is just the picture code which is the only html i know.

I'm 21 and will be graduating this spring with a degree in english literature. I listen to metal in all of it's exquisite forms (thrash, death, black, classic, power), but the only kind of instrument I play is a keyboard or piano. I've always had a fondness for horror, but it was Hellraiser that started me really spending alot of time researching horror and seeing as many movies as I can.

Oh, forgot to mention. My big break into horror was "Friday The 13th (6): Jason Lives." I caught it on TV one night when I was only 7. I enjoyed it, and was understandably a bit scared by it, considering I had never seen a horror film before. Later that night, I went with my family to return some movies. I somehow wondered off into the horror section and behold, I found the box and title to the movie I had seen it. I never really left the horror section since.

Motorhead is among the best! When they came to Austin with Morbid Angel and Today Is the Day I got to meet Lemmy before the show. The rest of the band was on stage while Lemmy was sitting at the bar, smoking, drinking jack, and playing video poker! heheheh

You're all pretty open/ open minded people, we're all alot alike, and alot different. Like, I see 2/3 of you like rock/metal, I don't. Other than that we're all pretty close, I think our horror stories are alot alike, we really need to come up with something big for us horror fans on these boards, I'm thinking I know. I'm thinking of something. Like a story/script making combined with us all in the general boards. :)

Yeah, the outtakes scenes where he keeps having to say his lines about the hermaphrodites over and over are hilarious.

Well, I'm 21, currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. I attend college part-time and I'm trying to be a suspense/horror writer. I actually just submitted my first professional horror manuscript to a publishing house a couple of weeks ago, so we'll see how that goes.
I've always been a movie person, but my start with horror came about at around the age of 7 or 8 with my very first Nightmare on Elm Street, part 4. Since then, I've been hooked. I watch horror non-stop, not to mention all movies in all genres. I'm the type of person who can watch a movie LITERALLY hundreds of times, know all of the dialogue by heart, and still not be sick of it.
I was actually quite surprised there were so many musicians that posted. Myself, I'm not a musician, but I do enjoy music quite a bit. My favorite singer, performer, actress of all time is Madonna ('cause, um, SHE RULES) and I spend most of my time locked in my bedroom, her CDs blaring. Never really been into the whole grunge/metal/rock scene. I'm strictly pop/dance/club music. Guess that's where I stand out. ;)
Anyways, that's me.
P.S.,
Tox, everytime I read your location, it always brings a smile to my face. Heehee. :D

I am not well liked at my school but those fucks can go to hell, I hate people. except you guys and gals. you people are great. I dont know when i started to watch horror movies and i do know i spent most of my childhood watching movies, the sad thing is most of my life i spent alone. im depressing myself. so i'm going to go. meh

oh i forgot, i like making movies too, some friends and i make movies under the name "low budget beatdown kids" and we also film punk and hardcore shows, when i was in grade 6 i got a camera and it was probably one of the best things i had ever gotten, making movies is so fun, also i don't get along with alot of the people in my school because i can't tolerate people who are on a lower intellectual level than me (i know i sound like an asshole but it's true <not that i'm smarter than everyone, just that the majority of my school are morons>) i just can't handle talking to people and not communicating, like i hate bullshit conversation like "so..nice weather today huh" and i hate when people use words like "fag" or "jew" as insults, also i hate when people complain about hardcore and punk and how hardcore sucks and then they go home and listen to black flag, i play guitar as well, and i'm a sucker for 80's movies (made in or set in), i dunno, i saw people write more stuff about themselves than i did so i had to like compete or something, there you go, oh and ai have a deadjournal, and i update it usually, and i need a haircut

I had totally forgotten it, but she brought it up over christmas and its jogging some verrry fond memories of my childhood *sobs*
