I find it amusing that he is a classically trained pianist. His music is ok. I haven't heard that much of it but that one song he is popular for is pretty catchy. Don't know the name of it.

Andrew WK is great! He just plays some awesome fast-paced catchy tunes and his music always gets me in the mood to party. Great music to get drunk to and play at a party.:D

Exactly......I find him to be as far as his music goes....a no talent piece of crap. All he does is scream and run around in the same white tshirt and white pants and act like an arsehole. I wish he'd just go away.

I can't see why all there was (and pretty much still is) getting all of this hype, I mean his music is okay if you want to here something that sound's all the same and is pretty much about all the same things. His cd was good to listen to once in a while, but not all the time. I saw him live at Ozzfest 2002 (on the Second Stage) and he was terrible, I mean all he voice is so bad live, he can not rock at all. He also kept hitting himself in the head and shit like that, it was really dumb. I don't really like Andrew W.K.!

Andrew WK is not a great singer by an strech of the imagination but there are other singers who are much worse (and who have achieved a bigger following). I think you might have just seen him at the wrong type of venue. I saw him at a smaller club along with Danko Jones (another high intensity type rocker) and it was un-freaking-believable. I have yet to attend another concert that was so exhilerhating(sp?).

Andrew WK is pretty damn cool.

I like his music in short doeses, it's as catchy as hell and yeah it does sound all the same but to me that means it's all good.

I saw him live at the NME tour last year at Leeds MET (a small venue) and he was a great laugh. I like his shows and who ever said he cannot rock and roll...is just plain wrong. He IS rock and roll...he's as old school as you're gonna get and possibly as American as you're gonna get.

His stage shows are pretty cool and he seams into it all the time, he just "wants fun" all the time. His stage diving is kinda dangerous at times (knocked people out) but that just adds electricity to his shows. At the gig I saw him at people left before he came on because they only wanted to see the second to last act (Lost Prophets) and they missed a fucking awsome show.

Saying all that, I don't think I'll be getting his second album unless it gets good reviews, through word of mouth or if I see him live, he's so good live it makes you wanna buy his album.

I just heard all of I Get Wet and it rules. It's so catchy. He's sort of like the modern day AC/DC as his music all sounds the same, but he still rules.

His new album The Wolf is just as much fun as his debut. Brilliantly dumb.

Dude...no...hate the A.W.K'ster. His music is tremendously bad...so bad, you almost want to listen to it. In an odd, non-sexual way.

Cool, I thought it would be softer after listening to Never Let Down.

Yep, that why I said he was similar to AC/DC his music is great, but it all sounds the same.

Just love it for what it is...

...dumb jump around party rock'n'roll.

She Is Beautiful is his best track by a mile and that's quite intelegent for him.

What's your faverate tracks?

The second Andrew WK is due out sometime in the next week or two. i've seen almost no publicity for it- which is a rather starck contrast to I Get Wet, which was (deservedly) hyped to all buggery...

reviews suggest the second album is very very similiar to I Get Wet...so i guess atleast it doesn't suck :D

Andrew W.K. in my opinion is a return to party rock. I Get Wet to me was just a big party when I listened to it, which was great to hear. But as for Andrew himself, if you look up the meaning of eccentric, you'd probably find his picture there, amongst others. The thing is, he's a walking Jackass act. The guy hit himself in the face with a brick in order to get the cover for his first album, he ate canned dog and cat food on MuchMusic as a dare (wtf?) and the guy can make himself bleed by simply scratching at a scar on his forehead! Plus, the guy doesn't seem to bathe, which explains his hair. The guy still facinates me, for some reason, seeing as I've never seen a rocker willing to put himself out for this.

It is a much more mellow CD than I Get Wet but it still kick ass. There's about 5 songs that are soft but the lyrics are amazing and he shows on this CD that he has a shitload of musical talent. I do like I Get Wet better but The Wolf is an excellent follow-up for Andrew WK.
