Okay, so what's the deal with Subspecies?

I see Subspecies 4: Bloodlust all over the place in both VHS and DVD formats. But I can't find the originals ANYWHERE! Are they not producing them anymore or is there some weird licensing problem? Full Moon has released the bulk of their films on VHS/DVD so what's the problem with this one? My old recorded copy is getting really worn down and I need to replace it.

Has anyone heard anything about possible DVD release for the first 3 flicks?

Yeah, I’m also curious as to why I can’t seem to find the first three Subspecies films anywhere. I haven’t seen any of the series, but would like to check them out (in order). I know I can find them on the internet, but I’d rather rent them first. Full Moon is capable of decent genre fare when they’re not playing with dolls.

For some reason, I really didn't like Subspecies. People complain about Evil Ed's voice, but I can't stand the way Radu talks. He has that raspy voice that annoys the hell outta me.

im not too into vampire movies usually,but i gotta say this was full moons best series...parts 1,2 and 3 were all solid films,and they all followed each other.i recommend them.just try ebay.

I love Subspecies, I have all four and I can not wait to see five. The first three are currently out of print. Check E Bay.

LOL! It takes all kinds of critters to make Farmer Vincent's fritters. Anyway, it was almost like Radu was doing a bad Marlon Brando impersonation.

the first one sucked ass, it was boring so it sucked, sorry but this movie was a bigass letdown, in fact the only good full moon movie was puppet master 1-3(although trancers, and some of my other favorites, i think have something to do with charles band and his team of crazy bastards)

Go to www.cdnow.com (http://www.cdnow.com) they have Subspecies 3. That's where I got it.

Full Moon said they were going to try to make Subspecies 5, a prequel movie, but no more info has been heard about it since. I think the project may have been canceled or just plain forgotten about. Full Moon hasn't even updated their website in ages.
