Veeeeeeery creepy flick that came out in 1979 and stars Chuck Connors as the widowed owner of an old wax museum tucked deep in the woods.

Very good movie, IMO. Highly underrated. Dark and creepy with several good performances.

I got the DVD for $8 at Best Buy. For some reason the DVD is Rated R even though in '79 when the movie came out it was Rated PG. Who knows...

For anyone interested, there's an article concerning Tourist Trap in the latest issue of Fangoria. It mainly focuses on Chuck Connors. This flick sounds appetizing. I might have to pick it up.

i have to say tht i really didnt like it to much it has annoying things about it but it is none the less creepy with good performances but i hated how characters would stick together then split up also the characters were too trusting but all in all its not too bad i mean not to buy but at least to check out on tv they give it on flix sometimes without editing which is good

Of course I remember Tourist Trap .Apart from the fact that it's a fun little movie, It's constantly on the British Sci-fi channel.

Hey I own it and it was really cruel, especially the girl who's killed by wax !!
She could not breath anymore because of the wax on her face !!
Very creepy and atmospheric !!
I like the end, too which is really disturbing !!
8/10 for this underrated gem !!

Yeah, very atmospheric and the mannequins were damn creepy.

I have to say I don't remember ever seeing that one, but it sounds pretty good!!
