Hey, I just saw this cheesey slasher/who dun it/ghost flick called BLOOD SISTERS, I was wondering if anyone else saw and liked it. Here's my review:
BLOOD SISTERS (1987)
starring: Amy Brentano, Shannon McMahon, Marla Machart, Elizabeth Rose, Cjerste Thor, Patricia Finneran, Gretchen Kingsley, and Bridgete Cossu.
plot: Seven college students, as an initiation for a sorority, spend the night in a haunted brothel. The leader, Linda (Amy Brentano) has had her boyfriend set up harmless pranks all over the house while she has the rest of the girls go on a scavenger hunt. But they are each slaughtered by an unknown slasher. Has a secret from the brothel's past come back to bite everyone in the ass?
At first, you'd think this movie would be very boring but once the girls get up to the brothel the fun begins. This has creative death scenes, fun bizarre scenes with ghosts or murders, a surprising killer revealing, and a very unpredictible ending. The things I didn't like were: the girls in the sorority: I didn't care about any of them except Linda and Alice but those characters weren't shown enough. But, the creative murders, the surprising ending, the great directing, and creepy music carry this movie.
4/5
