I heard the same thing about "Trouble Every Day", and that was the most dissapointing experience of my life (movie-wise)

Couple more threads about this movie, where you can also read what I thought about it.

I liked it but I don't think I'd ever watch it again. It easily beats I Spit on Your Grave and Last House on the Left in terms of disturbing rape scene. One viewing was enough for me. My review is here: http://www.joblo.com/arrow/irreversible.htm

It was shocking, but then again it made you see it in a perspective I havenīt thought off.
Your life can shift from being good to bad in a vast amount of time.

Some folks will propably see this movie because of the violence, but the movie is so much more...
I too will not see it one more time but as The Arrow said itīs an OK movie ...
