Minnie Driver - Cute or not?

I just saw Grosse Point Blank last night and it reminded me of how likable this actress is. But the fella I saw it with dosen't think she has anything in the looks department. I think she can be really pretty. What do you think?

I have always had a non-sexual crush on this actress. I think her acting skills, singing talent (she's a blues singer), and square jawed beauty make for one interesting girl. I LOVED the fact that she put on a bunch of weight for her FIRST major role in Circle of Friends (a good movie!) when most actresses would never have done it. It showed that she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress and really surprised me when I saw her in real life. I never expected her to be sexy from seeing her in that film. Plus, at the oscars, when she was nominated for Good Will Hunting, I thought she looked more beautiful than ANYONE else.

I agree. It's difficult for an English person (from what I hear) to imitate an American accent. I'm always impressed when their own speech doesnt leak through (it always does w/ Paltrow). Her Irish accent in Circle of Friends also was amazing. She sounded EXACTLY like an Irish friend of mine.

Depends on the film. I thought she was kind of cute in Good Will Hunting. She seems real down to Earth. Not like those fake-ass Hollywood bubble heads like Denise Richards.

Sometimes she looks hideous, sometimes she looks great (like on the poster for High Heals and Low Lifes).

I'd say it's pretty safe to call her "cute", for the most part.
