Winona Rider stars as the angsty prep who desperately wants to shake her best friend who rules their prep-clique with an faux-fur covered gavel.
Heather (#1), is the kind of social climbing, semen gurgling bitch who we've all wished at one point would die

....but when she meets up with the smart ass, motorcycle riding rebel (played by christian Slater... TYPE CAST>?>?!?!?!?), they plan on offing the most popular girl in school without even a hint of guilt. by fluke the murder ends up looking like a suicide, slater gets a taste for more blood..

A fun Fucking ride!! Blackest of the black comedies, filled with about a million "what the..."'s and mullets. What more could a scmoe ask for??

Yeah, I remember when this movie came out I loved it. A lot of my friends thought I was crazy, but I guess they just didn't get it. There are just too many awesome quotes in this movie to even mention, you'll just have to watch it yourself. This is probably one of those movies that you'll either think is the greatest movie ever, or you'll hate it. For me however, it's non stop fun!

Agreed, this is one f***ing cool movie. And I nearly didn't go see it at the cinema. The ads made it sound like a chick-flick (I'm a chick who LOATHES chick-flicks), but some friends took me along to see it. It's now in my video collection.

Winona Ryder & Christian Slater gave amazing performances. And it was interesting to see uber-brat Shannon Doherty hold down a part without over-acting or throwing a shit-fit.

Best scene: When Christian's character shoots out the radio while "Teenage Suicide" is playing. Priceless stuff.

yes the regular dvds not the TIN were defected, all of them were i took it back 3 times so i just decided to hunt down the special edition TIN and i found it. its great and the dvd works. anchor bay sucks anyway...but yeah find the tin...there is only 15,000

I also love Heathers, from JD's kool psycho antics, to the witty dialogue to the gay suicide pack (hilarious), the cow tipping scene and the satirical humor. The flick was ahead of its time and still holds up today like a psycho champ.

yeah thats terrible, i didn't know she had brain cancer through. i read that the geek (peter) killed himself. its weird that in the movie he prays to god to not let suicide happend to him cuz he wouldn't be able to handle it. i guess the role forshadowed his life, or something

Does no one besides uh, Stevereno remember Martha Dumptruck! She is the best part in the movie. She doens't even have any lines except..I'd Like That! me and my friend watched this at 3:30 in the morning and laughed our asses oof at martha, we went to school and told everyone to see it and we started saying I'd Llike That and big fun all the time. We made a catch phrase, instead of people saying COOL, or sounds good..people at our school started saying I'd like that....I'm serious, my friend is real obseesed with her, he bought her other movies, there is only three of them, one called disturbed, its suppose to be horror but its so fucking funny! and one called the dark backword, which he is getting off ebay, Bill Paxton has sex with fat girls and she plays a fat girl! Yes!! God I can't wait, she is the funniest thing I have ever seen in a movie period!.......I'd like that!

I love Heathers. What I find most fascinating about it is how now, post columbine it seems not only hysterically funny but incredibly prescient and MORE socially relevant than when it was made.

Just bought this yesterday and watched it today. Fuck I had forgotten so much of this darkly disturbing yet kick ass movie. Christian Slater goes from cool to scary with grace and Winnona Ryder plays the head strong Veronica perfectly. There is now way in hell this movie could have gotten made after the Columbine tragedy but I thank God it got made when it was. Nothing like Bloody Dark Social Satire to start off the morning. :)

I bought this movie on DVD ages ago after reading numerous rave reviews. Was really into the movie and though it was hilarious for the first half until the DVD fucked up and wouldn't play anymore. I returned the goddamn thing like 3 times then finally said fuck it and got my money back. I was still never able to see the rest of it. Bah to anchor bay on this one.
