Other: The final shot rules all.

The Shootin Surgeon

Other: When Sonny kicks Carlo's ass. Especially when he nails him with the garbage cans. that bastard.

A close second for me is when Luca Brasi goes into Don Corleone's office during Connie's wedding.

Gotta go with the Restaurant Scene. So much anticipation is built up with the subway noise in the background and the look of sheer and utter nervousness over Michael's face. Great scene from an even greater movie.

Gotta go with the Christening which is just brillant. Michael has finally fallen from God's grace while his godson achieves God's grace.

I went with other...so many great ones to choose from. My five favs: The Christinging, Sonny at the tollbooth, the Restaurant, the First meeting with Solatzo where Sonny spoke out of turn, and Michael and the Baker at the hospital moving the Don's body.

I love that scene... great colours (Carlo's orange jacket, the kids playing with the water...).

My favorite parts are the scenes at home, like the brothers discussing what to do after Vito is shot, trying to find out who the traitor was, Clemenza making pasta and so on...
Of course all the killings are done very well, the best is probably Sonny at the tollbooth

The restaurant scene. No doubt about it.

"He's clean, I frisked him. I've frisked a thousand punks..."

I almost feel sorry for McLusky.

It's too hard to pick just one, but my top three scenes are: the restaurant scene, the christening & the final scene where Kay sees Michael has become the Don and the door is closed on her.

Both the ones with Michael in the restaurant (look at the intensity in his eyes!) and the final christening was a very strong scene.

The Restaurant scene is one of the first scenes i think of when i hear Godfather. But i have to go with one of the more underrated scenes, the "Horsehead in the Bed" scene.. mostly because it scared the shit out of me when i was young lol

The Restaurant. He didn't have to say a word.

I like when Sonny beat up Carlo but, having seen Godfather umpteen times, the fake punches are all too real and hard not to notice.

**SPOILERS**-I shouldn't even be saying this though, cause if you haven't seen these movies by now you deserve them being ruined.

Godfather 1 - The Baptism/Murder scene

Godfather II - I'll probably have to go the bow of the head after you hear the gunshot that kills Fredo. I know its not on the list but thats my favorite. OR when Michael grabs Fredo's head and gives him the kiss of death. "you broke my heart, Fredo"!

Godfather III - I love the silent scream at the end of III, when his daughter dies. and the hit on the meeting with all the leaders of the families is pretty cool too. oh, and when Vincent shoots Joey Zasa, and says "Zasa", it just sounds so damn cool.

The christening, I'd say. A very powerful scene in a very powerful film.

My favorite scenes are two where there's no action, just conversations with Michael, and 2 different characters, Kay and Vito. When they're talking on the street (Michael and Kay) it's so uneasy and revealing that I mark it as a highlight.

But what I really voted for was the garden scene, between Vito and Michael. It's so damn powerful, well written, and cinematic. A true, classical scene
