Eastern Cult Cinema - Good News For UK Fans Of Eastern Horror

A new DVD company called Eastern Cult Cinema recently released a couple of pretty cool horror movies, Hypnosis & Pyrokinesis (Crossfire). The future though looks brighter still. I bought the latest edition of The Dark Side magazine today and it has a full page advert stating that three of Eastern Cult Cinema's future releases are Evil Dead Trap, Junk & Wild Zero. This is great news. The UK seems to be far more receptive to Hong Kong, Chinese & Korean horror movies and we are reaping the rewards. I'll post any details I can dig up with regards to whether the movies are uncut or what extras are to be included. Junk states on the cover that it is uncut.

Ok...i've found what I think is a complete list of current and future releases from Easter Cult Cinema (Artsmagic). Other than those mentioned above they are as follows...

I'm disappointed that some movies have been cut by our bastard censors but Easter Cult Cinema are shaping up to be an interesting little distributor of some pretty obscure (by mainstream standards) horror movies.

Some of those mentioned above I haven't even heard of. Can anyone shed any light on what Demon (Yasha), Angel Guts: Red Classroom & Isola Perona 13 are?

Hypnosis - released as The Hypnotist in the US is an excellant flick.

The lowdown - People in Tokyo are committing strange acts of suicide i.e. - running themselves to death (cool scene) jumping out of windows, strangling themselves... It seems an someone is hypnotizing people, he takes away their bad memories but leaves them with a post hypnotic suggestion that when they hear a bell or metallic chime those memories come rushing back 100 fold causing the people to much pain to bear.
