in part 7 the hockey mask has the Axe crack at the top and a little piece missing in the botton left i beleive
now in part 8 Jason Takes Manhattan, he gets a brand new mask...
but why in JGTH and Jason X he has the mask with the axe mark and the little part missing?
or is this one detail i'm not supossed to care?
:D

continuity? whats that?
:D
its a jason movie, cant think about em that much lol.
Tox has a good point. The Friday series has always been known for three things. (1) Jason comming back to life(unlife?). (2) More stupid kids visiting Crystal Lake(Forest Green). (3) Having almost NO continuity from one part to the next.

I thought that the continuity between the third and fourth movies was done well.
That would be the exception that proves the rule.:D

ok so it's something i'm not supossed to care or something like that..
is just that i founf odd that they ignored JTM in the mask aspect
well.....continuity, silly me :D
Well considering they ignored the ENTIRE ending from JTM, the mask should be the least of your worries.:D

I saw part 8 years ago and my memory of it is a bit vague, but didn't Jason pick up a new mask on the boat before he killed the people on it with the boathook?

Oh aye, I should have read your original post a bit more carefully ;)
I LOVE ALL THAT IS FRIDAY THE 13TH....except part 8. I hate it with all I have, ofcourse I own it complete my collection, but I cant get the horrible image of jason puching that dudes head off on top of the roof, and nevermind the fact that he walked/swam across the ocean and still managed to find his victims in Manhattan!!!! I have to go now...*sniffs* I cant talk about it anymore

Don't bother pointing out the many errors of the series. Paramount really didn't care how good the movies turned out as long as they turned a profit. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I with you man. I loved Part 8 and all it's cheesy goodness. Plus there hasn't been a cooler character in all Fridays than Julius
