Does Anyone remember Humongus? It came out in 1982.I saw it a loooog time ago at the drivein.Its about a group of people that wreck their boat near a desserted Island,or so they think.I remember this movie to have scared the shit out of me.The only thing bad about it was the lighting.

I always thought this was one of those movies that could of been a lot better. They did such an average job on it that it actually was below average. Nice idea though. The lighting did kill it a lot.

A guilty pleasure. It had a few good moments though, kinda reminded me of MADMAN.
but like mention before the bad lightning killed a lot! I've heard that Anchor Bay is gonna release it on DVD sometime in 2003.

Humongous is one of my fav horror films. i remember seeing it with my sister in the early 80's. The guy who directed Humongous also directed Prom Night. I cant wait for the dvd.

Saw it on the Showtime network back in the Reagan decade. Wasn't there a nice looking redhead who shows off her ta ta's?

Anyone who likes this film is definately seeing it through rose tinted glasses.
It was MAYBE passable horror fare for its time but I saw it again recently......it's crap , really ,it was even worse than I remembered it.

This was painful to try and sit through, it looks and sounds horrible, it's really badly made crap....just horrible in every way. It was also hard to watch the "actors" trying to deliver their lines, the acting is terrible....ugh
