Christian Bale

There is a reason this guy has the largest internet fan base of any young actor. He is a presence to be reckoned with. I adored him as a child actor in Henry V and Empire of the Sun. I also had a huge crush on him when Swing Kids came out and I discovered he was all 'growed up'. Now I think there is no one hotter! Huminah Huminah. Can we say American Psycho? He can carve me up any time.

His movies are never big money makers it seems but I really feel that will have little bearing on his fan base. People appreciate him for what he is. An extremely talented and attractive specimen of man. If there were only more like him......

i have been a fan of his since empire of the sun. he is great. plays great roles, and picks different ones. i mean, going from singing and dancing in newsies to being a psychopath killer in american psycho must be a hard thing to do...and to be convincing too! he is great! definately underrated!!!

He used to be a YAY. Now he just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. He was bad in the horrible American Psycho (3/10), his performance was overrated in Empire of the Sun, he really isn't that talented IMO. A definite NAY.

Man-God if I ever saw one. He has fantastic talent and commitment to the work he does (he strived so hard to regain the part of Patrick Bateman from DiCaprio, learned to dance for "Newsies", researches accents and uses them) He is a hard worker and he is a definate keeper. Oh yeah and he's fricking gorgeous!!!

Christian Bale is a definate YAY! He even made the very baaad Reign of Fire somewhat amusing. And each time I see him shirtless and the lesser the better ;) I just wanna mold Christian up & down.....:D

I'm still not sure about him. I thought he was one of the best things about the otherwise dull Shaft (2000). But his performance in boring pretentious and redundant American Psycho is, like the movie itself, one of the most overrated of all time.

I can never shake this feeling that Bale looks like a young James Fox, of PERFORMANCE, and UP IN THE VILLA fame.

Why? Because everybody likes him and I want to be in the minority, that's why! ;)

Just kidding. Actually, Mr. Bale was great in Empire of the Sun at a young age, but as an adult he hasn't really impressed me, I just find him wooden in several of his films and American Psycho was really bad. I hope he makes a good film to get him back on track but movies like Equilibrium does NOT help.

Great big Yay from me. He was in two of my personal favorites: Velvet Golmine, he did a fine job there and I thought he was brilliant in American Psycho.:D I also thought he was decent in Newsies and really surprisely good in All the Small Animals(hope I got the title right).:D

I just still have yet to see what everyone else see's in American Psycho. Hell, part 2 was a trillion times better than the first... (this does not mean I like the film!) I just don't get it...
