Come on guys Cut was not that bad !!

For me it is one of the best Post - Scream slasher because it has the 80's tone, it is gory, good cast, the killer's costume is also great.
Good photo - work, too.
Of course it was sometimes cheesy ( Losman with his pocket - through the throat and the owner of the theatre ) but who cares ??
It deserves more recognition I think.

i had my expectations so high for this film after hearing lots of good fans of the genre,saying how it was the 'best of the genre' and such forth....and when i rented it,i was falling asleep....ok,so maybe the time for watching it wasnt right,but it still could have kept me awake if it was good enough,which it wasnt,i totally was disappointed in this one,and infact i can honestly say it is horrible.

Cut has its fair share of flaws, but it's one of the more entertaining modern day slashers out there. Scarman's mask is unforgettable, the death sequences offer an abundance of gore, the directing is inventive, and the females are hot. My biggest complaint lies with the finale. It shouldn't have taken a supernatural route. I respect the film for striving to be different, but it just doesn't go according to plan. Also, once Scarman opens his mouth, the flick takes a mammoth nosedive. He should have remained taciturn and uncommunicative. Hopefully, the sequel won't be as patchy.

sorry but i did not enjoy cut one bit, in fact i found it to be very dull and not worth watching. sorry but it started off good, but went quickly into the shitter. and i do mean quickly.

I hated the charaters in CUT. They were so paper thin at least Scream had some enjoyable characters too relate too. CUT was just a cash in movie IMO>

I kept hearing how HORRIBLE this movie was, yet I was still curious and had to see for myself. I watched it a few months ago and I must say it was pretty good. The lead chick was a hottie and I dug the killers costume. It did have a few flaws but was still very enjoyable and not nearly as bad as everyone was saying. I'm looking forward to CUT DEEPER (CUT 2)...

I didn't think CUT was TOO bad. Sure, the characters were weak and interchangeable, but it had cool deaths & great 80's atmosphere. It was just for fun and that's all that matters (despite the NEW NIGHTMARE-inspired ending).
